I don't think there's much to puzzle over interpretation wise .. Were on the cusp of the January window & suddenly he's out of the side. I know it's the pantomime season but we don't need to shout "he's behind you"..

Always felt in the past he has been very steady & calm... One game sticks in my mind was Villa away,,obviously a while ago - outstanding performance.

Max was very comfortable,,calm & solid. Nigel say's that if you get into the side & you do what is required/expected of you,,then you keep your place. I hope he sticks to this.

Apart from his unbelievable energy levels I'd say his strongest asset is his movement - I don't think I'm being unfair in saying many of those around him are not on the same wavelength....

I'd give Martin a breather - play Andi the machine 'up top for a few matches...his movement at times is very clever..

Absolutely right Ajax....could be a suicidal move. I'd be prepared/happy to see us cash in on Bentley,,if at all possible - we would apart from NOT losing our top scorer be able to negotiate a much higher fee - plus wed need to see that cash reinvested on the playing side as close to 100% as possible.

Possible incoming a striker & a right winger - at least one will be a loan with buy option at end of season. Injuries are always possible & if our strikers are hit we could be left relying on Semenyo - not a great idea!
