A very good point... An imbalance that needs correcting. Trouble is any player in that 25-29 sweet spot whom is doing the business at this level - or clearly capable of doing so wont be cheep,or even free. Some clever recruitment & who knows even a spot of scouting is What's required..

If you want something to look forwards to,,go book a holiday - we need,,all of us to be stronger than that... The position we're in is down to rank bad leadership from the top over many years & was never something that could begin to be addressed short term.

Whomever our manager is(currently of course Nigel)will be tasked with what is a root & branch overhaul,,requiring the constitution of an ox....so we as supporters need to be mindful of what it is we wish for & that short termism',,in mind & action won't cut the mustard - however,resetting in league one is not I feel a sensible option. I have something rattling around in my head that says Engvall point blank refused to go out on loan when he was here??.... It's a while ago now & my memory bank's arn't what they were.. If I'm correct in recollection that's a very negative stance & imo casts a shadow over his outlook/commitment.

Along with the players.... They are looking gradually more 'shot with each match.. Where I am with it is if we can't scrape five or six more points on in from here then we fully deserve all we get.

Ok,,let's cut to the chase.. Your patience is clearly running very thin with Nigel - remember no manager gets every signing right. Would you want him fired at the end of the season??(that's gona be expensive) Remember also,,Nigel is attempting to pull us out of a hole - a hole others he has to currently work under dug for us. If so whom would you view(of those available)to be capable of continuing the considerable job of restructuring & moving us in the right direction?

If being dull is the price to pay for getting 'over the line' then I feel that's good value - horses for courses. What we've witnessed of late is pretty drab anyway!
