  1. Haskins is going to Haskins! I thought that although Hall trundled in gamely enough Lee caught him virtually every time with a check hook as he came inside. Far higher quality shots and movement despite Hall's huufing and puffing. He didn't maximise his physical advantages.
  2. My friend is watching here... http://www.streamendous.com/channel23.php no responsibility accepted!
  3. Did you see GGG then? Nothing wrong with him, Kell is in serious shit unless he's seen something no-one else has before!
  4. Really? i really enjoy his analysis, think he's a breath of fresh air on sky
  5. Mundo is a monster at smw. Needs to learn some ring craft still though.
  6. Enjoy the card everyone. Best of luck Kell. Let's do this!
  7. There are lot of rumours that GGG is unwell with a stomach bug. He certainly looked a bit gaunt at the weigh in today, but it's probably just Matchroom trying to generate more PPVs!
  8. Me too Super, Mundo is a beast! Connor Benn on the bill too and Charlie Edwards going for a world title. Haskins ring walk is at 2130 according to Hearn @phantom
  9. Haha, I did think that as i replied! It's all good mate. It will certainly be intriguing to see how Ingle sets Kell up tactically. He's going to need balls of steel however he tries goes about it!
  10. Yeah, I'm sure he'll still have the speed, but will he have the pop? His biggest issue is that he'll be hitting a much bigger opponent than he's used to; I can see his shots bouncing off GGG who has never been down in 380 amateur and 35 pro fights. And if you can't keep Gennady off you, you are in a world of trouble! Because:
  11. Kell will be relying on his speed more than anything else I would say. GGG is a very underrated boxer, as @joe jordans teeth and I were discussing a few pages back. He is incredibly effective at closing down the ring and getting his opponents exactly where he wants them before opening up. His footwork is exceptional too. I got the impression from the presser today that as the fight gets closer Kell's confidence is waning too despite what is coming out of his mouth. Agree with you that Haskins v Hall is going to be very interesting. It's certainly a massive stage for Haskins as you say, the sort he doesn't normally experience due to his not exactly crowd pleasing style. As an aside, I also believe Lee might have the worst tattoos in boxing! I'm really looking forward to it- I think @B1ackbird said he was at the first fight between them? @Super it's been hard for GGG to get decent fights, every bugger runs a mile, like El Pollo Canelo! David Limeux was a highly regarded KO artist and GGG dismantled him in short order. Watch for him dropping his hands and letting Kell hit him, he likes it Mexican Style! Big Drama Show!
  12. One week to go! I don't think so @Super, but he seems amazingly confident. I think GGG is different gravy for any other middleweight, let alone someone coming up so far to a weight they've never fought at. I don't think Kell thinks he can lose because he hasn't yet, but he'll have to pull off a miracle here. Can't wait to see him try!
  13. Not long now, a week on Saturday! Smith v Canelo the week after then Crolla v Linares the week after that! A great month of boxing.
  14. It's really difficult to. Froch v Taylor could be a contender. Honeyghan v Curry? I reserve judgement on Fury beating Klitschko until we see what is actually left of Wlad in the rematch.
  15. You're not kidding JJT, can't raise any enthusiasm for that one. I read earlier that Brand is getting $30k for the fight. Now i know the cost of living in Columbia is pretty low but surely that barely even covers his camp!
  16. Totally, fair play to Santa Cruz's dad for being there for his boy on the night. Got to be a rematch, FOTY so far I reckon
  17. They'll surely go again after that though, it was a fantastic fight. Really high quality action and a good tear up too! Frampton is a really excellent fighter. If he had a bit more pop in his punches he would be complete.
  18. I think he's well appreciated among proper boxing fans, he is unbelievably skilled. His style doesn't excite the more casual observer very much though and he is promoted awfully. There is no way he should be fighting Jazza effing Dickens. Welcome along! Good fight that, proper grudge match and not too much to chose between them. I fancy Haskins to beat Hall again, and it's great exposure for him to be on such a huge bill. A massive step up from 4 men and their dog at the Cardiff Ice Rink in May- although he did box well then too.
  19. Ward will have certainly enjoyed it JJT. The atmosphere over there was like a morgue, we are lucky to have the ones we do in the UK. Jazza Dickens v Rigondeaux too if Rigo can make it into the country this time, not that that will be as close or aggy as Corcoran v Williams! Wtf is Flanagan doing fighting Mzonke Fana on that bill, Warren isn't exactly getting him great opponents.
  20. Poor Chilemba, fighting Kovalev in Russia. Screw that! Bellew beat him in 2013, think it might be a short night for Kov.
