  1. Amir Kardashian haha good work Kell! Edit- And Lennox Lewis is an absolute Don
  2. Good work Yorky, let's see if it encrypts though! Fair play Ryder but in a much reduced pool. Etches has always been a bit rubbish imo Edit, Andre Ward is a total breath of fresh air on this tbh
  3. I wouldn't mind betting that Eddie Hearn will be sniggering about them on an IFL interview very soon!
  4. Clinical, brutal stuff from Garcia wasn't it. He is going to be in some big, big fights- it's a shame he's lost so much of the prime of his career to contractual issues.
  5. Well, unless they have another one to come today, it would appear to be that they have signed an injury- prone out of contract left back I've never heard of. Earth shattering stuff haha- and they've all been hammering their f5 keys all morning for that! Jokers. http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/rovers-sign-defender-robert-harris-3551683.aspx In fairness he has quite the pedigree, 4 years at Queen of the South mind!
  6. Mikey Garcia's ko of poor Zlaticanin on Saturday if anyone didn't catch it. Goodnight Dejan!
  7. Fair play mate, you called it- he was loads better there than the last fight wasn't he? LSC seemed to control the distance between them far better and used his reach advantage very cleverly. Frampton wasn't as sharp by contrast and McGuigan didn't help him between rounds at all, as Johnny Nelson mentioned after the fight. LSC beat him on the inside, totally outgunned him with the jab and threw shitloads more punches, a fantastic performance from him. Bring on the third fight in Belfast! State of Mikey Garcia's ko of Zlaticacin, that looked bad for a bit. I was relieved to see him get up.
  8. Fantastic, should make for an even better fight then! I'm sure Santa Cruz's old man will be urging him on again. The Dejan Zlaticanin v Mikey Garcia fight is going to be great, seriously!
  9. Bizarre that really isn't it. Selby will still have to pay for his camp too you'd imagine, the same as Haskins did when he didn't fight Cabellero.
  10. Fair play mate, am considering getting up rather than staying up! Interested that you think LSC will take it, I thought Frampton had his number in by the end of the first fight and I reckon Carl will be looking to be more efficient in his punching on the counter rather than loading up and getting drawn into a macho shoot out his time. Do you reckon Santa Cruz has another gear to go up from the first fight?
  11. So, amazing card on Sky tomorrow night. Selby in a real fight, an absolutely guaranteed barn burner in Dejan Zlaticanin v Mikey Garcia and then Frampton Santa Cruz 2. My only problem is my daughter's 7th birthday party on Sunday that precludes me from watching it! @joe jordans teeth and @B1ackbird will no doubt be up and watching, anyone else? Frampton by late tko imo, he looks on incredible shape 'Mon the jackal!
  12. Eggington is a step up on the quality Paulie has been fighting of late, he seems to be a really late bloomer. The 6th in his fight with Gavin was brilliant and he really gutsed that fight out If Paulie has lost a bit more of his sharpness and reflexes Eggington may make him pay. @MichaelRobartes no doubt @Super will be hoping for a fighting and commentary double header!
  13. It would be a good fight but it's very high risk and low reward for Kell imo, he's after ppv fights after wasting his time fighting the likes of Dan, Bizier and Gavin- Spence has about as much draw as those three but he's actually bloody dangerous! Khan demanding a 70/30 split is an outright duck, he obviously has no intention of fighting Brook. Why the f*** should he dictate to the champion who should walk out first? The only place he's still the 'A' side is in his head; if he doesn't fight Brook he's an irrelevance. @mozo, fair play for your your site mate, some good writing on there. I will check it again. @soultrader looks like an excellent event, nice one. And I'm just going to leave this here for @Super...
  14. Yeah, I didn't realise Mundo was mandated for the WBC strap so he gets to fight for it anyway unless DeGale and Jack rematch which looks very unlikely. Quite why Jack wants to go up to light heavy I'm not sure, he's on about fighting Adonis Stevenson but Stevenson would make absolute mincemeat of him- as would Kovalev and Beterbiev imo and Ward is a massively more skilled DeGale so he would get shown up there too.
  15. There were a lot of very close rounds but I agree, I had DeGale 1 up going into the last but that 10-8 giving the fight to Jack. Others had it a lot wider to Jack and he was complaining after that loads of DeGale's punches were slaps rather than proper connections too. I would say though Adam Smith made a big deal before the fight out of how good the 3 judges were and declared one of them the best judge in boxing atm. The judge who had him 2 up must have valued Chunky's eye catching skills over Jack's more basic yet far more percussive style- although the state of the DeGale's face at the end told it's own tale. 3 other judges may well have seen it differently but, much like the Kovalev Ward fight, I don't think the result was a robbery- it was very close and judging is subjective.
  16. Yeah just watched the card, he looks incredible! Picks beautiful punches. I had DeGale ahead going into the last round but he did well to survive it tbh, it was a heavy knockdown. Jack got better as the fight went on but DeGale matched his work rate in the middle rounds and I think that's what saved him.Chunky should pay his conditioning coach a big bonus. I don't know where this leaves Callum Smith either, he is the immediate mandatory for the winner from last night. I guess he'll have to wait for a rematch unless Jack vacates to move up to light heavy. Special mention for Mayweather showing what an enormous graceless arsehole he is after the fight. What a tit. Edit - ooh and Aleem Khytrov Fight was an absolute war too!
  17. Haha, good work mate! Have you seen how proudly DeGale has been showing his physique off? He is ripped!
  18. Definitely, he is one of our most skilled boxers. It's a pretty stacked card over there tonight. DeGale ud I reckon, anyone staying up?
  19. Obviously he didn't make them all, but he's got the ones he didn't on sky too.
  20. Serious test for Ricky Burns here Indongo's last fight Fair play to Burns for taking him on.
  21. Not a facebook user personally but good luck with this mate. Let us know if you have any events in Bristol or unearth any gems we should know about!
  22. I reckon Kid Galahad v TBA, John Ryder v Adam Etches and Glass Mandible Price v Hammer is pushing 'rather good' to its limit Sarj! You're right though, they're still potentially better fights than the main event so it seems weird that that bit will be free.
  23. It's a truly shambolic promotion. They changed the venue a couple of days ago. I see David Price is fighting Christian Hammer on the undercard too. You would need to be certifiable to pay 13 quid for that imo.
  24. You'd think so wouldn't you. When I watched the fight again it seemed more one sided than on the night, Linares is absolute class. Crolla pulled off miracles v Perez and Barroso so you never know, but it's hard to make a case for him here unless Linares has an off night- and he hasn't done that for nearly 5 years.
