  1. Exactly mate. Ryan Garcia looks about 14! edit, i hope garcia smashes Rodriguez due to a) his mask and b) his shorts.
  2. She is ******* brilliant. Just brilliant. So exciting to watch and her judgement of distance is a thing of beauty. So unusual for such a great boxer to be so out and out aggressive, she gives zero *****! I absolutely love watching her.
  3. Not heard anything mate, I reckon he'll be watching pretty closely tonight! This Whyte Chisora 2 promo is great:
  4. It was decent! Not sure the Canadian fella has enough pop to be very good though. Reckon El General has a bust jaw there.
  5. Haha, it's salacious gossip at best mate but he's supposed to be in to a bit more than booze and his private life is rumoured to be rather colourful shall we say. What happened that night in Tenerife when he got his leg sliced open at that fella's flat hasn't really been explained very believably either. Have you ever heard anything similar about Kell @Owl Visiting?
  6. Not just his weight by all accounts mate, there are numerous dodgy tales about Kell! Come on Rocky lad! Can't see this ending well for him, but fair shout for achieving his dream.
  7. Looks like Loma was getting back into it after his shoulder surgery. What an incredible assault in the 11th though, just breathtaking He called out Mikey Garcia after the fight too, that would be incredible- if Mikey gets through the Spence Jnr fight in one piece.
  8. Hearn looks pissed right off. Maybe you shouldn't have fed him to GGG Eddie.
  9. No definitely not on the world stage, although he is the Commonwealth champ which is a decent level. You're right, Brook has been awful, I just reserve bum for the boxers who get blown away in the first round without even trying, this guy has been ballsy as hell given his entirely limited skill set and you have to respect that. Brook's new trainer is chatting absolute shite to him.
  10. I agree with your general point but it's a bit unfair to call the guy a bum imo. He looked terrified for the first couple of rounds but has gutted it out to stay in the fight.
  11. This Aussie doesn't want much of this work. Evening mate, the Carroll fight was a good watch eh, thought the French fella won by a couple at least.
  12. Kell Brook's shorts are a ******* atrocity. Evening all!
  13. I may be over analysing it tbh, but I wouldn't put anything past the WBC!
  14. I've only ever seen a sanctioning body call for an 'immediate' rematch before. Calling for a 'direct' rematch seems to me to leaving room for it to be within the next couple of fights rather than the NEXT fight. It makes me wonder if Wilder's team are looking for the AJ fight which, as a unification, would take precedence over a straight WBC title fight.
  15. Worryingly, the choice of word is 'direct' rather than 'immediate' rematch though...
  16. Yeah, he took a brutal hiding from the 3rd member of the Ukrainian dream team. Sad to see anyone end up like that after a boxing match, but Stevenson is a pretty disgusting human being who pimped out underage girls on the streets of Haiti and inflicted torture on several of them and his rivals, so my sympathy is more than a little limited in this instance tbh. I always doubted whether Tyson could ever return to the heights he reached before his breakdown but I am delighted to have been proved so emphatically wrong. He is an absolute hero, and he will easily beat WIlder next time out, if Deontay doesn't opt for the AJ cashout instead (presuming the draw invalidates rematch clauses).
  17. Totally agree, he looks made for Joshua more then ever before after that.
  18. Just home from a mate's. What a ******* performance from Tyson, I literally cannot believe he got back up in the 12th after everything that's happened in the last few years. Incredible, incredible heart. The room full of people I was with was going absolutely mental haha. Barefaced robbery on the scorecards but in many ways it's a massive win for Tyson anyway. The whole world outside of Alabama knows full well who won and just imagine the ppv sales from the rematch, which he will surely win because Deontay is actually much worse than we all thought. Nothing but total respect for Fury, he has massively gone up in my estimation. Now to try to get a couple of hours sleep before seeing the cuddly cockney tossers and about 3 thousand rozzers at Ashton Gate!
  19. Eminently beatable! I would give my left knacker to see Tyson win tbh. I just wish he'd had a couple of REAL fights before he went into this, because at the top of his game Fury would easily humiliate Wilder imo.
  20. Neither of whom carried any sort of pop, they were blown up cruisers. I really, really hope Tyson proves me wrong, but he hasn't ever been anywhere near someone with Wilder's legitimate power. The ring is 20 foot square rather than the normal 24 too, given away in the negotiations by Tyson's management.
  21. You'll both be up all night anyway then haha! Congratulations to you Will and Tom, mine are 6 (tomorrow) and 9 now, I don't envy you haha!
  22. My little boy's 6th birthday party tomorrow with 20 kids at Kingsdown leisure centre , so I'll ******* need a drink in the evening haha! My chances of staying up from that to the fight to Millwall at home on Sunday are limited tbh, but I'm going to give it a good go! edit, my missus has done a great job on the cake
  23. That's the big unknown though mate. Fury is clearly 100 times the boxer Wilder is, but Deontay carries that windmill power seriously late in a fight. If Tyson had had more than 2 glorified sparring sessions since coming back I'd have far more faith, it just seems much too early for me. I really hope I'm wrong!
  24. Brilliant, like a trip to boxing Mecca! Love the guys taking a quick break from the pads to photobomb behind Freddie too haha.
  25. You can't knock the commitment Tyson's shown to get back into that shape from where he was. I want him to shut Wilder up so much, but there's a serious doubt about his stamina after what his body has been through in the last few years. Sure he looks great now but we've seen coutless times how fighters who haven't lived the life get found out in the latter stages of fights, and there's no way a two year piss up and eat-a-thon with shovel loads of gak can be good for your cardio! I wonder if @AirlieBeachRed has any updates from LA for us yet? Are you attending the weigh in tomorrow mate?
