One of the absolute worst posts I’ve ever read on here. A complete embarrassment of utter nonsense from start to finish.

Enjoy the game @SPAZZA - you deserve to win after putting up with that!

That was a bit uncalled for wasn’t it?

@SPAZZA Apologies for the hostility mate, it’s been a long week and I misinterpreted the tone of your post. Thanks for the explanation.

An apology from you please Chippenhamred. You’re one of the best posters on here, but there was really no need to be so offensive.

Cool, full of away season holders, give us 10,000 allocation and I’ll just about qualify for an away ticket.

Those people on this forum for a while know I’ve sat amongst you for years, I do it at a few away grounds, I don’t see the problem, if you can’t fill it yourself then as long as I’m respectful I’m putting money into your club with no hassle 👍

Friday night, winter, live on sky, Any genuine loyal Leeds fan should have been able to get a ticket. If you’re having to sit in home ends all the time, that doesn’t say much about your loyalty to the club.  You feel the need to come on here and tell us you’re sat in our end; not to be respectful and open dialogue about the game but to try and boast about how massive you are. I can see right through it. I hope you have a throughly miserable evening. COYR!!!!

    Hello!!

As usual I’ll be sitting on my hands somewhere amongst you!!!

Usually I’m fairly confident of a win, but we’ve ended the window in a weaker place than we started and our fullback issues are all for everyone to see.

Still playing 17 year old Gray at RB (although we just signed Roberts on loan last night so may not be going forward), Gray not a RB and had some issues against you targeting him earlier in the season.

LB…well, Firpo has never fancied playing in England. An absolutely shite defender and an okay attacker seems injured for half a season each year, awful signing by Orta. Byram however excellent at this level is also made of paper and hasn’t played more than 20 league games for what is probably a decade, in our wisdom we didn’t feel LB is an issue…!!! Except the fans have been screaming it’s an issue for years.

Due to Gray being at RB we play two DMs in midfield that completely narrows down our attacking threat to 4 players who I think with some clever doubling up in places can be held off.

In addition, if we do end up going 1-0 up…don’t despair, we then turn into this arrogant lack of intensity bunch of posers that don’t want to finish a game off.

I’m not confident about tonight at all and I think you will get the 3 points or at the very least score a late equaliser.

There’s an away end you know.

We beat West ham because they didn't turn up, not because we were outstanding

So results don’t matter unless the opposition play to the best of their ability ? Sorry Maidstone, you only won on Saturday because Ipswich didn’t turn up. No plaudits for you.

  5. Just as we shouldn’t arrogantly start making plans for a home tie with United in the way that the quartered cretins did, we shouldn’t downplay our chances either. We’ve already beaten tougher opposition than Forest this season. Pring and TGH may be out but we’ve still got players that can hurt them. Forest themselves may be looking at their fixture list and their league position and concluding that the FA cup isn’t their priority. It’s a winnable tie and the potential rewards will ensure we put in our best possible shift.

  6. Aside from the titles he’s won, his teams have reached 97 and 92 points on two occasions, which’s should have been enough for a league title if it weren’t for a Man City team bending all the rules.

  7. They really are in a rut, four league defeats on the spin, unable to fill their stand and missed out on a massive FA Cup tie. It wouldn’t be so funny if they just got on with their business quietly, but they really set themselves up for this mockery don’t they?

  8. I just have to highlight one of my pet hates here… “Be careful what you wish for” as an argument is weak and spurious whataboutery. You can’t point to the very worst owners in the football league as an example of why we should stick with the status quo, any more than you can point to the poorest country in the world and say that the UK should stick with it’s government because “it could be worse”.

    You don’t have any opinions?

Or you prefer not to hear opinions you don’t agree with??

Always amazing how often someone comes on OTIB, a forum for discussion and opinions and complains about there being discussions and opinions….:dunno:

That’s quite the deduction you’ve made about a post consisting of three words.

This is true, but what is also the case is in our last 10 meetings Preston has only won one (1-0 with a penalty after a dive).

6 of those games have been draws so your prediction looks a safe bet but this myth (by others, not you) that they are some sort of bogey side isn’t borne out by this.

Birmingham City, on the other hand…

Indeed, it was during the LJ era that we had a horrendous record against them, and although Pearson fared much better, I guess it’s still stuck in peoples minds that they are a bit of a bogey side.
