  1. Hilarious how they are creaming themselves over a trip to Brammal Lane. It really is a huge away day for them! Weezord is hilarious too. His club (not pompey) have absolutely nothing over us... And I mean literally NOTHING... so he resorts to just being obnoxious instead. Moron.
  2. I'm currently tutoring two Football mad Italian kids. I showed them all the Rovers pictures... Santas Grotto, the stall at the freshers fair, the open top bus parade on an empty street, the bloke running from a horse, the "prowed to be a gashead" grafitti and pictures of their tend stands. These boys were literally on the floor in hysterics! Is there any other club in the country with as much comic material as that lot?
  3. I dont think we should be bringing up our away support that night... im still embarassed by it!
  4. Both goals conceded were amateurish. We've really thrown this one away Im afraid. 10 minutes to go!
  5. By their standards, thats actually reasonable! I expect their crowds to be up this season after 2 promotions and their "billionaire" but once they realise its another false dawn itll be back the usual 6000 odd.
  6. You cant scoff at a point away from home after being 2-0 down. Anybody who thinks this result isnt good enough needs to manage their expectation levels for this season. We are not promotion/playoff contenders.. (Yet )
  7. People need to manage their expectations. This is a tough tough game, and we finished just a point ahead of them last season. What right do we have to expect to win here?
  8. Fair play to them for boycotting. Hope we'd do the same!
  9. Funny game for me.. My uncle is a Villa fan and used to take me to Villa Park occasionally back in the late 90s when they were top six regulars with players like Dwight Yorke and Dion Dublin. Before I was old enough to know better, I would tell people that City were my number 1 team but Villa were my "premiership team" Makes me cringe to think about that! I haven't been to Villa park since about 2001 and any affinity I have with them is mostly gone, but it will still be weird seeing them at Ashton Gate. COYR!!!
  10. Argggh. Dear god. OK lets break this down. According to soccerway, the capacity of your third world dump of a ground is 11,916. 90% of that would be 10,728. So tell me how you are going to achieve that for every home game this season when you haven't averaged anywhere near that for OVER FORTY YEARS!!!!! You didn't even get that for your first game of the season, a local derby in the cup, and the game vs Bolton (the biggest team you've played in a number of years) May I also add that we've sold out our available capacity for both of our home games so far this season. And last season, all bar two or three home games were a home sell out of 14,000 or so. We wont sell out 90% of 27,000 this season probably at all, but theres a bit of a difference between our fantastic modern build and your dump. Its hardly any wonder theres a 300+ page thread mocking you, when your fans continually come out with such absolute drivel. Now jog on.
  11. Using their Carling Cup tie at Chelsea to claim superiority? Anybody can get the luck of the draw. Thick tw***t.
  12. the c****ts are blatantly going to spawn a result out of this now.
  13. Yep. Norwich look fairly comfortable. Can't really see us nicking anything here but you never know!
  14. "A tidy outfit who have started this game impressively" - Radio Norfolk.
  15. I do fear the worst and we should prepare ourselves for the likelihood of defeat... but then I look at our wins at Middlesbrough, Southampton, Leicester, Swansea and draws at West Ham and Newcastle. We have got good results at top Championship sides before, so why not tonight? COYR! If we do happen to get beat, no f****ing meltdowns please.
  16. Annoyed at the fact that you have been in our shadow for the best part of 120 years. I'd have an inferiority complex too if I were you.
  17. Heres some comedy gold from facebook in case anybody requires any bed time reading. They all have their tails up tonight. Bless. Night all. " Yeah and Rovers just got bought out by the Al Qadis, which have made Rovers more financially stable then they have been in years, plus Rovers are planning on building a new stadium. Attract quality players, like Dwight Gayle you mean? You tried to splash the cash but he didn't want to come. Mainly the players you had splashed the cash on have been rejects of their former clubs, Brownhill, O'Neil, Tomlin, Challis, Lyons-Foster, Omofe, Lucic and Magnusson. O'Dowda's the only real decent signing you've picked up, proven ability to attract quality players, what a joke!" . We're not going to buy the league, we're buying to cement our place in League 1, look how well we played against Scunthorpe, granted we were sloppy with possession but when we had the ball they could hardly handle us, we were unlucky to lose, and this is one of the best teams in League 1. I'd rather have a great team and cement our place in the league with great signings and not spend so much rather than spend a ton on a bunch of rejects who you only think are good because of the club they used to play for. It was only 2 seasons ago but thanks to consecutive promotions we're on the rise again. Oh ok u must of forgot about them billionaire Jordanians that bought us then? Fair doo's. U must be tired go to bed
  18. Absolute screamer of a goal to win it, I'll give you that. But I can't think of anything positive to say about your performance other than that. You looked like a really poor side with very little technical quality. As for Cardiff, they looked like they couldn't give two hoots.
