Fortunately most fans aren't so ridiculous as to completely dismiss the manager's style of play as "snore ball" after 15 games with someone else's squad that have included two thrilling cup performances against Premier League opposition, 4 goals away at Watford, 3 against Sunderland and 3 against Hull. And no I'm not pretending their haven't been poor and unexciting performances as well. But it's been a mixed bag, with some very promising moments, and your assessment is clearly just nonsense - especially at this early stage of Manning's tenure.

Hopefully we’ve seen enough of the appalling O’Neil quality to bin them off and get a proper manufacturer. The range this season and the bizarre blue-everything training gear that doesn’t tie into any of the kits - or traditional club colours - is just a shambles. And surely it’s time to end the retro obsession? Just come up with something simple and classy.

I don’t like the angle. Certainly higher than optimal. Would love them to have the main camera in the Dolman, which I think would be a better height, and mean you get the backdrop of the Lansdown, which would make the stadium look far superior on screen compared with the dated Dolman.

You’ve chosen a season ticket in the most expensive part of the ground, then complain when you are charged the highest price for a cup game - which still isn’t extortionate by any means. Are you ever happy about anything?

If he makes enough of a difference to put us in a play off spot it won’t have been pointless. And - more realistically - if it helps us attain a higher league position, say top 10, then again it won’t have been pointless. A strong finish to the season, even without a play off spot, will create a bit of positivity around the club, help with season ticket sales, and make us a more attractive proposition in the summer transfer market - all of which provide percentage gains for the following season. We need to shake off the sense that we are just a perennial midtable club. This could be the first step in the right direction.

Over a period of 19 games, with a good run of form bolstered by quality additions like Twine, yes that is entirely possible. 57 points to play for.

Just as an aside - not sure if many people realise but Forest Green’s training ground is actually here in Chippenham. Quite a long way from Nailsworth! It’s part of a public facility - my son plays up there a lot, often sees the players and was thrilled to meet Matty Taylor recently, as well as Deeney. They’re always friendly so based on that and nothing else I hope they stay up!

One of the best lessons from KDB is that an accurate side footed “pass” into the corner of the net beats just smashing it. He did it against us and he did it again yesterday. No one else does it quite like that and it’s so impressive.

It’s not even a week since that really boring second half at West Ham.

There are now hundreds more tickets available right now than there was at the start of the sale! Potentially there will have been people logging on at 10am or just after and giving up in the belief that they’d missed out. It’s been a complete shambles today.
