  1. I never want Cardiff to win, but we absolutely want Cardiff to win tomorrow.
  2. As things stand it’s 3 wins and 2 draws in our last 5 at home. Keep hearing all this about our “shocking” form but I think it’s overstated. It’s the away form specifically that appears to be the issue. If we can chuck in a couple of away wins before the end of the season and keep up the home wins, who knows what we may still achieve - especially with Derby winless in six. I realise we haven’t won yet today though!
  3. How many other clubs have improved their league position for four seasons in a row, including a promotion, while simultaneously spending £45m redeveloping their ground, releasing plans for a new training ground, and growing their attendances by around 50%?
  4. Neither Eliasson nor Engvall have done anything particular to justify their inclusion ahead of Diony and Kent, certainly not the the extent that it is “absolutely shocking” that they haven’t been selected, to use your words. You make it sound as if Messi has been dropped in favour of Bas Savage. The way you talk with comments like “glad I’m not wasting my time today” it’s as if we’ve been relegated already. For all this talk of how terrible we are, our last four home games have brought two wins and two draws with a realistic prospect of victory today. Find some perspective.
  5. The is the first team we’re talking about, still with a realistic opportunity to make the play offs, a critical and winnable game, and you think experience and game time for individuals is the most important criteria for selection? Would it kill you to offer some semblance of balance in your posts that actually recognised the strides made this season?
  6. Yeah all those transfer disasters that have seen us develop from relegation to playoff contenders while heading for a 4th consecutive season of league position improvement despite operating with a bottom half budget.
  7. I’d say the sub goalie is arguably the most important sub in that if you need them you don’t have any other option! Put it another way, you’d rather only have six subs including a keeper than seven without. No idea, by the way!
  8. Magnússon’s throw certainly proving a good weapon here. I count four goals now this season from his throws: - Two today - Djuric v Palace - Flint v Cardiff Any more?
  9. Fair enough, arguable either way really, I’d just like to see that gap to 7th increased to six points.
  10. Five point gap to 7th as things stand. Personally at this stage of the season I think it’s preferable for teams above us to win over teams below us.
  11. It’s not in the club’s interest to run a buy-back scheme until demand outstrips supply.
  12. EXACTLY what we need in these sort of games - an early goal! Changes the whole complexion immediately. Au revoir Sunderland bus!
  13. I’m all for Gas bashing but let’s stick to facts when it comes to attendances, otherwise we’re as bad as them.
  14. Take a point from that all day long. Clearly a foul but if you go down like Tom Daley you only have yourself to blame.
  15. 0-0 away against an in-form side, we’ve had some spells of possession, created a few chances including a golden one for Pato. Shows how far we’ve come when that’s your assessment of a competitive half of football against a decent side.
  16. McClaren has done his homework, fair play to him. “Johnson manager of the season if it ended now”.
