  1. Two big, athletic bullies in midfield against little old Bobby. Wouldn't have fancied his chances
  2. The goal was Flint's fault. He let Maloney drift in behind him to score And the people saying Freeman isn't good enough for this level...what crap
  3. Basically yeah! Conceding 6 at home is a sackable offence for me
  4. I'm sorry but two more goals for Fulham and heads have got to roll. And while they're at it, Lansdown has to lower the ticket prices next week. Paying premium rate for that dross is not acceptable - either he stumps up for better players or they lower the price. He cant have it both ways
  5. Thanks for the tip. I won't need it tonight but I might in the future. Is it instantaneous? (i.e. can you access it straightaway, or do you have to wait 24 hours or something?)
  6. I thought Kodjia was average tonight actually. Tried a few tricks that didn't come off, had one run at goal but didn't do much else
  7. Well I was wrong as it turned out. Quite how we drew with Ipswich with no recognised midfield general, I'll never know
  8. Not really a nightmare. I think it will sum up our season: mixed results throughout for a mid to lower table finish. The danger for me is that I get a bad feeling that Cotterill will be gone by Christmas
  9. I must admit that if he doesn't bang a couple in soon, questions are gonna start being asked
  10. Bobby Reid looking good against quality opposition is a massive bonus and makes getting a central midfielder not so desperate
  11. Some people's reactions to today's result/performance have been laughable, bordering on the disrespectful. We lost 2-0 away from home to an established Championship team who, for all we know, could finish runaway leaders at the end of the season. For the first hour or so, the match was even. It turned out to be a comfortable victory but we weren't comprehensively outplayed. It'll just take time getting used to the faster, more skilful teams in this league. Remember the great times this team brought us last season. None of them deserve to be called names or written off yet.
  12. Preston have to win both their games in hand AND beat us, and they'll still be two points behind. Still in our favour
  13. Yeah I agree. Hark at us - one minute we're bemoaning a lack of success, now we're getting bored of being so good haha ;-)
  14. No I didn't feel nervous either, because they offered zilch up front. But I would have liked to see us control play a lot more and play in a way that made the casual observer think, 'Wow what a team'. I think we fell short of that. Korey Smith, for example, was so so much better against Crewe. I was telling my dad to watch out for him because he's so good, but he was a bit average yesterday. Ah well, we did what we had to do and we have some silverware in the cabinet finally!
