  1. Not sure how you can say that. Walsall were poor in the final third but played the ball around nicely. I didn't think City played to our full potential and we will have to perform better against Preston, or we will lose.
  2. Not really. I think Walsall were quite hard done by to lose by two goals. They dominated possession for parts of the game
  3. I thought JET was poor for 80 minutes and I even called for him to be taken off. Then I remembered I had money on him scoring, so I called for him to not be taken off after all. Lovely goal and won me 150 quid! Man of the match was Korey by a distance. He was outstanding tonight. My ratings would be: Fielding 6 Cunningham 7 Flint 6 Ayling 7 Smith 8.5 Pack 7 Little 6 Bryan 7 JET 6 Wilbraham 7 Freeman 7
  4. How the HELL did we get 17 points clear of MK Dons? They were neck and neck with us about two weeks ago!!
  5. Cotts has said we need to play like we did in the second half on Saturday, but for the whole 90 minutes. No we don't!

  7. Just been on the Sheff Utd forum and someone on there describes us as big and lumbering, and a worse side than Swindon!
  8. Let's hope so. I was having a browse through some other clubs' forums last night and found an old (December I think?) thread on Brighton's forum discussing a rumour that Cotts was in contention for their then-vacant manager's job. The resounding opinion was 'No thankyou!' Amazing considering we were top of the league at the time!
  9. For me, Cotts has one eye on the MK Dons match, which is, of course, a much tougher game than this one (on paper at least). As one of our most energetic players, Freeman needs a rest. Despite being given MOM against Gillingham, I felt he's looked a lot better. There's enough in today's team to win the game. Bring the young lad back for MK Dons and he'll be flying.
  10. Yeah i'd probably do the same, especially as Matt Smith's game doesn't involve expending a lot of energy (neither does JET's, to be fair!). One or two of the box to box players did look jaded against Gillingham tho, and you wonder when people like Korey Smith and Ayling will need a break.
