Little being rested - good management, he's probably knackered.
Interested to see how Tavernier fits in.
I expected Agard to be on the bench today, but no point in rushing him back given the form of the current front two.
I hope you're right (that he's knackered) and that SC hasn't just decided that Tavernier is a better player. Little's done really well and deserves his place on merit; the last thing we want is bitterness creeping into what appears to be an incredibly harmonious squad.

Whatever happens, I hope no one boos at the end of the game

only four in League one have conceeded fewer, so we're not doing too badly at the back...
We do seem to be more leaky now than we were earlier in the season though.
-
Our defence does not need tinkering. Only thing we were missing was smith to cover from midfield and provide the drive. Pack, although good, doesn't offer the same thing. Smith would have given is an impetus to push forward and score more
We're conceding shedloads

Bradford were very poor tonight. But got what they came for. Some of our passing was poor. But to win this league we really do need to be beating teams like Bradford at home
I'm not worried. We've won away at Sheffield United, beaten Chesterfield and Milton Keynes Dons. It's not like we're not winning games against good teams. Quite simply, you can't win every game. It's never been done by anybody and never will be.

JET with the assist, would say he should be in over Wilbs soon.
Not for me. Why change a winning team? Wilbs also works harder than JET. JET should remain an impact substitution.

2 goals in 3 mins is good is it?
No but sh*t happens. It's football. Had that been happening every game for the last six, I'd have been worried.
-
Unbeaten in six and look at some of the posts. Incredible otib.
I agree. It's unbelievable - we're on a great run

Hartlepool on both Radio Bristol stations FM & DAB , are we not on at all ??
Yes we are, on medium wave

I like this fact quite a lot, 3 wins in 27.. SC has already 5 wins and he's only been here 3 months, it's hardly glittering form but facts are facts SC is a better manager than SOD is for this club. SOD might write excellent programme notes, but results wise probably our worst ever manager.
Hear hear
-
SoD seemed a passionless man, but he knew his tactics.
When SC got appointed, I thought at the very least he would have inserted some passion into the team, but I can't see any of that..
SOD knew his tactics. They were just very bad ones.
-
Well unfortunately it seems that people in the club went on their personal likes and dislikes too. If we took on todays equivalent to Brian Clough they would probably sack him for speaking his mind if it was criticism aimed at them. After all the most important talent for a manager is to be the kind of guy you could invite around for tea, isn't it?
No, the most important talent is being able to manage a football team. When you comprehensively fail at that, having an affable personality is some consolation.
-
F uck ,why do i feel the need to defend SOD.
May be because despite the terrible results under him I am sure he would have got us where we want to be in time. His problem was that the board who hired him,did n't actually like him ( evidently they thought he was a 'cheeky chappy' ) he obviously changed his personality overnight.
No one wanted to hear the truth when he spoke and if he lacked charisma and diplomacy at least he knew something about football and how to get teams promoted from this division.
He was ,iMHO ,let down by the board who told him to reduce the wage bill and left him high and dry when he needed their support.
i am really fed up with all this.
Personally I didn't like him. He just had no charm or likeability factor. It doesn't take much.
-
Don't be ridiculous.
He's clearly, a proven manager at championship, let alone league one.
We went on a 23 game winless streak, and stuck by him. He started turning things around, we we went on a run of 1 defeat in 8, and then sacked him, another, stupid, idiotic decision by the board.
I believe statistically he is the worst.

It was over when they appointed Cotterill....................sorry couldn't resist it
To be fair, it was SOD who laid the foundations for this predicament. But it doesn't matter who's in charge - Bristol City are just synonymous with failure and disappointment. Always have been, always will be.
-
The only hope we have next season is that SL sees his mistake again and ****s this moron off.
Didn't JL say that Cotterill's contract isn't a clear cut 3 & 1/2 years and they have a clause?.
Or better still, SL do one himself

yeah we will i'll still be going
part timers can **** off in my book
Fair enough. I will be spending my money on other things
-
Same old City, shambolic defending, non effective midfield, shit keeper, and powderpuff when it really counts strikeforce.
League 2 is coming folks, and aint it gonna be fun fun fun in that ******* league........NOT
Good luck to 'em, cos they aint gonna have any fans left
-
And JET has ? He is an absolute disgrace to his profession.
If ever a player has shown a total lack of interest and effort for a game...then he is your man.
JET is certainly not a man for a fight
-
Shite, another embarrassing performance from the clowns in red..........
**** watching this shite next season in L2...
Me neither

I've been a supporter of Cotterill so far, but I will waver before long. Playing three at the back with our carp defence was suicide
-
That was his brief.
If you believe that, you'll believe anything

It is so much better now, right?
No but that's not the point. How anyone can miss O'Driscoll is beyond me. I will never forgive him for taking us down without a fight last season

Have you had a SMS from the future?
I'm getting PMS from the present

Oh that's OK then. To be honest, Cotts gets most things right, so there's no reason to doubt him
