This feels like a bit of a make or break match, we need to show the rest of the division that we're here to stay.

Their one sided hatred is funny. Wasn't that impressed with them but they got the job done in the end
-
Got a horrible feeling it will be one of the shitty games where swindle nick it 1-0..

Happy with this unbeaten record, but I hope it doesn't hinder SC's approach to games, thinking "I'd rather stay unbeaten" then go for the game. Don't forget Huddersfield went something like 50 games unbeaten and still didn't go up
-
Maybe Bantam10 has forgot the countless years being in the 4th tier, and being a c$nt hair away from the conference?
-
Peteborough will always be competitive in this league no matter what players they have.. they'll be up there as always
-
Don't ignore Coventry now they are back at the Ricoh.
I know everyones glad their back at the ricoh but from a selfish point it can scupper our promotion chances

Especially when our quality of crossing seems much better this season, seems the perfect striker to have there at the moment. Looks a real threat at the moment and in real form.
People are so keen to take Wilbraham out the side because he's not a fashionable player imo.. when stats show he's one of the main reasons why we're 3rd in the league

I'd be tempted to play Jet in place of Wilbs, tough one tho tbh
And why would you take off our top goalscorer?
-
Why have I got the feeling it's all going to go wrong?? This is Bristol city after all

1-1 tonight.. tough game today, without being too picky I like to see a bit of a better performance but then again i'd take 1-0 and a crap performance

The overriding emotions after the game on the Walsall fans forum is that we're cheating primadonna's

disgrace!!

Just to buck the trend slightly, I for one will be popping the champagne corks when Rovers move into their new stadium outside of the City if Bristol, as we will finally be rid of them for good.
I can't wait.
Everyone knows there is truly OTIB, but soon it comes official, I can't wait for the day they move out of our fine city

So you've only just realised what the rest of us realised some time ago!
Maybe I should make some more absurd comments and the complete opposite will happen

This is harder than Colchester imo, much harder, direct team. The pressures of being at home, fans expecting a win..
Hope to god I'm wrong but I don't see it being plain sailing tonight..
I know nothing, fact.

There are some big games in L1 tonight.
Carlisle v Shrews Crewe v Notts Co both six pointers - I guess we want Notts Co to win given that they look like they're already down?
Colchester and Oldham both have tough away games (Wolves and Orient) which they will hopefully lose.
Swindon could do us a favour and beat Tranny away (though based on their form at AG last week I doubt they will.)
If we win and these all go our way, we could be very happy later tonight.
We win, that's all that matters. Not ever team will pick up points and with a bit of luck we can be 7 pts away from the zone
-
I can see us scoring an equaliser with 10 minutes to go after falling behind in the first half.
City 1-1 Port Vale
sounds like a typical SOD match

was ever thus, it's just the "small man" syndrome ! I wouldn't piss down their throats if their teeth were on fire .
What a charmer you are.

I can now forsee Rovers going one of two ways: either they become a bit of a Reading, or a bit of a Darlington.
Or they could just carry on being Rovers in nicer surroundings....
The latter, imo.
Just can't picture Rovers in a 22,000 all seater stadium, playing nice attractive football whilst being in the championship.. it doesn't suit them..dwindling 5,000 crowds, horrible pitches horrible football is their way..

Think we can all thank Michael Smith for playing like he only knows best, crap.
