It was always going to be tough playing with 10 today, but we're still top and we're there because we're good enough.
Lets bounce back with a result against Preston next week.

"@BBCWiltsSport: FOOTBALL: Bristol Rovers Player Wayne Elliot sent off in the second minute for a Foul against Jack Stevens."
:facepalm...
Classic media. If they got the team and his name wrong it means we can fool the FA in to overturning his red card! Or is that desperate thinking?

Announced already on the Chelsea site

Bit concerning. Trust Smith doesn't turn into a classic City injury - seems not too serious, should be back soon etc., then news that it was more serious than first feared and the player is out of action for what seems months.
Hopefully SC erring on the side of caution and he'll be available fully fit for Barnsley.
Bit of an over reaction there. Smith only started training yesterday. It's just a case of not rushing him back and given Pack scored in the last game, he may as well keep his place. Smith will be fine.

Today will be tougher than some people think on here. This gives a great opportunity for their reserve/youth and other fringe players to get a chance and be recognised for their first team. I think we'll need to respect that and be on top of our game.
That aside, we have a great squad and if we can continue to play the way we have done, and not be over confident of S****horpes situation, take it to them early and boss the game, i think it could be a great day.

Great news that it gives the players an extra 24 hours to recover/prepare for the Monday game but what an absolute joke to give fans just over a weeks notice.
How long have the club known about this fixture and they obviously havent considered fans may have made plans on the BH friday.
Obviously common sense is on holiday at the moment.

I just hope that the Tuesday game playing with 10 men hasn't knackered them too much.
Also, I'm not expecting much from Nyron given he hasnt played competitively with the others yet.
I'm going for a draw today; 1-1.

And no defenders on the bench! Watch this 2-0 lead fall apart. Gutting.

Great first half performance, although we dipped a little to wards the break, Second half was one to forget (or has perhaps just become the norm these days) but a good overall performance. Very pleased for the lads especially as we needed that today. Hopefully, that'll help with the confidence. Some strong performances too - Williams and Gillett. Williams made some good runs down the left, oh, and where did Reid come from with the corners?!? Some great crosses in to the box in teh second half.

Hi, i understand this is the Match day thread to see the Gas score. Anyone know?
-
OK result, keeps the unbeaten run going, and we didn't concede late on...positives.
And it'll only help\with Fontaines confidence too

Honestly, does anyone need to post the Rovers score on a City Match thread?
