One thing I can’t help but wonder is whether Stokes and Murphy factor into the club’s thinking around the Twine loan. Possibly not and this may be very premature but we could have one or both attacking midfielders pushing for a place in the squad come the summer meaning that, if we could not agree the right price for Twine we still have options in the squad that enable us to maintain the same shape (even if they would obviously need settling in time and not bring what Twine could bring anywhere near as immediately)
Not forgetting Benarous who is back training with the first team. Here’s hoping he’s over his nightmare period.

No6 one of my fav players
I remember one night, as a nipper, my grandad sent me out to buy 20 No6 ,the tobacconist was closed so I went to the Chinese takeaway on the corner and came home with 3 bags of egg fried rice.

Happy birthday Louis. By C.A. ‘s judgment my grandad was a snappy dresser too.
That’s not him by the way. He was a No6 man.- 1

He hasn’t ‘ given’ anything, he is lucky enough to have been paid by the club for a number of years for his work.
Fair play to the bloke. -
Stokes City.
Hello and Goodbye young Josh. Hope to see you soon. -

It is really odd how this game is continually celebrated. Yeah, great win.. but it was ages ago.
We are told that we are a club with aspirations of competing with the likes of Liverpool, which makes it all the more smalltime.
The mural is a good piece of artwork, but is a permanent reminder of our underachievement. All very odd.
Why don’t we celebrate all our wins over top clubs?
We beat Arsenal in our first game back in the First division at their place- worth a celebration ?
We beat Liverpool in the league - worth a celebration?
Man Utd at Old Trafford - let’s have a Saint Kevin Mabbutt day.
Yep , sad and tinpot.
Let’s welcome back our old heroes for a bit of a wave and to rekindle memories but let’s wait until we have something really special to celebrate before blow the dust of our, rather short , roll of honour.- 1

The one good thing about this is that we are finally maintaining the contact with ex players and staff which can only be a positive for the club. The more football ‘friends’ City has the better.

He hasn’t been the same since Nige left, nor has Dickie. We are weaker defensively.
I expect they have too much information to take on board and have moved away from what they were previously doing. Let’s hope they settle down soon because since LM arrived our strong defence has been making some silly mistakes which has cost us goals.

Another one...
Great view, I was a third of the way back.
I imagine the view was even better further back/up
When full, the pillars will impact some seats but overall very impressive
The atmosphere was good and when full will improve the stadium atmosphere without a doubt
Underneath plenty of room to include eateries, bars & toilets and pre- match and at half time I can imagine it absolutely bouncing
I think I’ve found my new homeIt’s the ‘when full ‘ bit that gets me.
They couldn’t fill it for , what is for them , a glamour tie with a huge prize for going through so when do they envisage this event happening ?
When they’re in the Prem ?
For the first comment, it is evidently better further back …Birmingham for instance.

I hope our 4th Round tie doesn’t get overshadowed by the Gas trip to Anfield .
What’s that you say? Lost ? At home to the Canaries reserves ?
Oh well my Gas friends there’s always the First round to look forward to next season.- 1

Capacity crown in BS3 under the lights - the Gate should be bouncing, I just hope we don't concede an early goal and it goes flat. Alternatively an early goal for us would get our tails up and who knows what could happen from thereon in!
Let's show everyone what we're about. Big night too for the pubs of BS3, don't forget! And those with parking spaces rented out ha ha
Goal ?

Which is why a solid but unspectacular loan spell is probably the best long term outcome overall!
So, the worse he plays the better it is for us .
