They most certainly are on every count bar the fact that they are currently in the division below, They regularly get 30000 at Pride Park and have a history of achievement at the highest level that we can only dream about. I would love to become a bigger club than them but we have a blooming long way to go.

Pearson also had the knack of pulling a good result out of the hat when it mattered. What does it tell us? That the players are capable but don’t perform consistently enough to be successful in this division ? I know we can’t win every match and for the most part we’ve not been battered by anyone but the coach needs to motivate the team to maintain their standards.

I’ve always said what an excellent young coach Manning is . Well done to all, just the one question, where’s the consistency ?
