Before Robbored starts up the mini bus to pick it up, theres just a couple of things that need to be checked before making the journey and accepting your kind offer....
(a) Does the TV have a scart socket ? … they need one to connect their VHS player/recorder to it (unless anyone has an adaptor plug they can donate? )
(b) Will the TV work off a 12volt car battery via a cable with two crocodile clips and a loop aerial? - as it will be sited in a tent.
Oh, its great that its free to collector, but Worthing is fair old trek from Whorefield and the mini bus/van is a bit thirsty, so any fuel you can chip in for will be much appreciated - afterall the Gas will be taking it off your hands for you.
It has all of those things but they can **** off for the petrol money.

Exactly as it should be since the EFL turned this comp into a farce. Well done to all those who boycotted the game tonight.
Exactly, not one to take the piss out of.

And now the much lauded , promised to have been installed in October , large screen ,
has gone bloody missing......
or should I say hasn’t appeared .....
Could everyone just check behind their sofas
I actually (honestly) finally switched up to a TV larger than my old 32 inch today. The old ones looking for a home, it’s a Sony flatscreen so if they’d like to send someone to pick it up that’d be great.
Would suit the men as it’s not ‘smart’.
Just before they get excited, I live in Worthing, although I’m sure it’s worth the trip.

Feeling a smidge more enthusiastic I trust?
I’ll give you a smidge. Points most important but I’m hoping to gain more confidence in the performance over the next few. On to Millwall!

Couple of wins and I’ll be back to normal!

Time for us to get some more points on the board so we can really lay into them, I can’t quite summon up the enthusiasm at the moment.

Wouldn’t surprise me if a certain Mr Holloway was interested in the job, if DC was to go . He was the co-commentator on talksport for our home game against Wednesday a while back and you could sense, he had unfinished business with that lot.
Kept talking about how far ahead we are of the blue few and wanted things to change.
Not enough to counteract the detriment to his bank account though...

Bloody hell, there were more at the Crawley game last night that I went to.
But I guess Crawley have a better ground.

Worthy of it’s own thread?
Wasn’t so long ago we went on the worst losing streak in our history, those in glasshouse’s and all that.
edit: obviously I wasn’t the only one to think it unworthy.

Exactly, so as much as we laugh at the tents etc we’d be the same and support the club.
I can see that a higher league position and better facilities might sway a few new to football, but my family have supported City since 1900 or so. If they’d supported Rovers since then I’d be sat in a tent.
Just how it goes.

Maybe it's best you stay away Miah....stick to Gloucester Rd with the degenerate Toby 'jugs...
A decent stadium with good facilities is clearly not for you..
Do you support the stadium or the team you grew up with?
I don’t understand the argument?
Both teams are perennial underachievers, yes it’s nice to have a great stadium but would you swap allegiance if the shoe were on the foot?

According to them some of us were in the Mansfield end.
Blimey, I was at our match that day, why didn’t I get an invite?
Was probably funnier though the travelling support went mental as the news came through.

It was also funny when they failed to qualify for the 1992/1993 Anglo-Italian Cup because they lost a coin toss held over the phone with West Ham United.....
Is that the one where the coin toss was held at the West Ham end of the line?
was there even a coin?

Unfortunately, as advertising is now personalised, they may not see it, not to ruin a good post though!
It’s not personalised on that site as I got the same rather than the usual Viagra and Thai bride ads.
