  1. You are correct. Not me though as I have not been on the forum all day. My apologies to Harry, who I find to be a sensible poster who I have never had any reason to give a sad emoji too. In fact I hardly ever use that emoji.
  2. I have not commented on this thread and having read through the entire thread, I am unable to find a comment even purporting to be from me. 4 of you have been offended by something, but the first I even knew of this thread was a notification. Either someone has said something under my user name and it has been deleted or something odd is going on. Can anyone clarify, what I am supposed to have said?
  3. Strange player massengo. He started out as a prospect, always plenty of bite about him. At one point he would of been one of my first names on the team sheet but never really developed/kicked on. Began to lack confidence in the end and invited pressure with a sideways and backwards game. Ultimately lacked pace, height, strength, shooting/pass power and forward thinking play. Maybe he'll develop in the right team but if you look at the likes of semenyo, scott, pring, different gravy. Flattered to deceive and lesson learnt from the ashton era I suppose. Doubt we'll be splashing the cash on any more lemons from monaco any time soon
  4. Is that definite? Not an international broadcast or anything else that stops ir being broadcast on a service we have paid for and often seem not to get?
  5. I read on their forum that they had sold 3,400 tickets for tonight leaving 800 empty seats in the Atyeo I guess. Based on 800 missing, what will that add up to in terms of attendance or overall tickets sold for tonight?
  6. I see they have announced their season ticket prices for next year. 7% increase may be too much to bear for some of them and their season card fanbase may drop below the meagre 5k they have at the moment. Imagine having to spend all that money to sit in a bloody tent every other week with a dirty bunch of hobos watching a convict and wife beater managing that load of dross. Anyone know how many of them manage to get in on each ticket nowadays?
  7. You can never be sure with transfer fees as a lot of the money swilling around in football has always been off the books. i.e. bungs, brown envelopes or paid through offshore tax havens that neither HMRC or the football authorites officially know anything about (well they do know but can't prove or turn a blind eye to).
  8. From the Preston forum.. "Only enjoyable part of that half was watching Alex Scott. Best player on the park by a country mile." "That Scott is absolutely having a field day. Burned past about 4 of our players before playing that ball to wells for the 2nd goal." ???
  9. Nope no probs here. Issue with your AV set up maybe?
  10. I would prefer to watch The Wurzels personally ?
  11. £9m is disappointing to me as I was expecting £12m as an absolute minimum as decent forwards have always been more expensive than defenders and midfielders in the main. When you consider what we got for Lloyd Kelly and Josh Brownhill, I am quite surprised. Clearly Antoinne wants to test himself at a higher level and of course wages will naturally be a big factor too. I wish him well with his new club and internationally and will be keeping an eye on his progress. Whilst he has potential, he is not yet the finished product and of course had we been able to keep him, we could have found ourselves with a player with a long term injury a few games further down the road and potentially worthless from a financial perspective. It will be interesting to see how much of that money we invest in a new forward as he will not be easy to replace.
  12. At least our game is on tomorrow. Apparently it is going to be too cold to play football in North Bristol.
  13. I've still got xmas cards coming through the door even now and an important hospital referral letter posted on 15th December only arrived yesterday looking like it had become soaked and dried out then left on the sorting office floor with a footprint on it. You certainly cannot rely on royal mail to deliver your match tickets in time these days.
  14. Thanks for your help guys. I feel confident now to use the phone rather than print the tickets. Hoping now for passage into round 5 and top Prem opposition at Ashton Gate, though first and more importantly we need a good result against Blackburn tomorrow.
  15. If we buy tickets for games not covered by our season cards, we normally print them to use them. My question is, will the turnstile scanners read them directly from our phones?
  16. Nothing I have been able to find. Will watch Wolves v Liverpool instead I think and follow the city game on the skysports app live text commentary.
  17. Not sure what the team will be today. How about trying a 442 instead of 352? O'Leary Sykes Naismith Atkinson Pring Scott James Williams Semenyo Wells Martin I would have preferred Semenyo up top but couldn't think of anyone suitable to cover the right. This team could switch to 433 when in posession with Semenyo moving up.
  18. They should not be in the football league at all and the mem should be condemned.
  19. It's not the rubbish entertainment at half time that bothers me, it's the rubbish we serve up for the 45 mins before and after that is the concern. At least we showed a bit of fighting spirit for the last 15 mins, where was it for the first 75 minutes?
  20. Based on today's diabolical performance, it's not only the defensive coaches that don't seem up to it. We don't seem to have a clue what to do with the ball when we do get it other than lump it up to two forwards who can't win bugger all in the air.
  21. I think that less than 25% of bristolians have the disease these days.
  22. Waste of a talent there. Shame he chose pies over football.
  23. Must be a familiar feeling for borehamwood, winning a game of football against a team not fit for the football league at a ground not fit for the football league either. The whole setup is non league TBH and as for the manager, not only is he a disgrace to the football League but a disgrace to humanity. Totally tinpot in every way.
  24. You will enjoy supporting City. Our defence has more holes than a Swiss cheese
