As you know, wrong band! With that reference - down down, you bring me down. Your face, it has no place in this conversation…

If someone from another club thought I will have a look at the Bristol City forum because it’s always lively they will think we are a bunch of weirdos

Yeah, he was happy in a drunken haze of football stats, analysis and video clips but he's miserable now

Let’s not start trying to cram songs of the smiths because Dave is a stats man as charming as he is

After QPR and Huddersfield won today, we are sitting just 10 pts clear of a relegation place.

Given our next game is Southampton, that gap could well be less ahead of what could be a key game home to QPR.

Can't imagine we would have had to worry about being drawn into a relegation scrap had Pearson stayed...

Behave yourself we will pick up a few draws somewhere along the line

A great majority of Brits are just as bad imo.

Spot on,the answer is government spending more money on people and parents who don’t give a eff anymore according to some, this country is doomed

Personally, I can't thank the Lansdowns enough for what they have done since they became proud owners of OUR club, but do we need a new owner? Is it the right time to part company? if 1) we can find the right investor? And 2) if Steve can let it go?

They always say, 'be careful what you wish for' but as fans, we continue to experience the same, a repeating process that never changes. It's absolutely mental, that it was 1976, the last year that we were promoted to the top flight of English Football.

No matter how big your 'city is', there is no given right to reach the promised land and some clubs don't even want to get there (of course, the owners of those clubs would never admit that). Its a bloody expensive investment but at the same time, it's a financially rewarding one.

We are currently shopping in Ireland, Scotland, Belgium etc, League 1 and 2 and have a young manager who has experience in academies and Tier 3 football management.

    2076?

Often thought this myself,we can’t get fans to get to Preston so if we ever reach the holy grail “premier league “what then happens apart from getting the fly by nights and it will be left to the normal fans when we are back in the championship to reminisce about going to chesterfield and the likes

Thank you for your good wishes, I'm sorry if I came on a bit strong in my post but that's just how I felt at the time, of course, I gave them back as good as I got.

Bless you I take it all back

Well said I tried to say the same thing in my earlier post, but a certain poster who names himself after a Leeds player with no front teeth took it upon himself to criticise me for having the audacity to agree with you.

You mean the Bristol city manager who had no teeth

You Know nothing about me at all, well let me say one thing, I am pretty sure I have seen more City games than you having been a season ticket holder since 1983, I was not at the ground tonight because my wife has had a stroke and needs me to be at her side, I rarely go out and leave her but she insisted I go out to meet some friends to watch the game, the fact some people were there (Gas) wanting us to lose is irrelevant, and two teams in the same division should have meant we should have been at least competitive, were we? I was embarrassed and I'm not afraid to say it.

Obviously I’m sorry to hear about your wife but no you can’t expect teams in the same division to be competitive,do you expect Burnley to compete with Man City,it’s pretty much the same with the parachute payments and the players they have

Need I say more? look I did not bother posting for a couple of hours to let the blood pressure subside, but what can I say? I, unfortunately, watched the game in front of about 6 Gasheads in the Duke who had come to watch us hopefully lose and well we certainly didn't disappoint them, we did not have a meaningful attack or attempt on goal, as the post says embarrassing, seldom in my 56 years of watching City have I EVER seen us so comprehensively outplayed in every department from the first kick to the final whistle, how the hell did we go from being deserved winners against West Ham to being outplayed by a team in the same division?

So you watched the game in a pub with gas rather than being here, couldn’t care less if you have supported city for 1 year or a 100 years because you clearly don’t know how football works,Were West Ham motivated to beat us or are Leeds better than us,you know the answer and while you mull it over your pint with the scummers ask how big the gap is

We are, remarkably, still only six points off 6th and seven off 5th (admittedly one more game played than most around us). That's not too far off a top six squad - but our form is getting worse because I agree, we are currently nowhere near good enough in the final third. We don't even know what the final third looks like.

I put this down to our new way of playing, plus Sykes being out. You could argue that one player being out means we don't have a top six squad i.e. one player out shouldn't affect us that much - but I think we're being affected more by slow, predictable football.

Sykes is without doubt our biggest threat,as the saying goes you only miss them when they are gone

Results aside, the football is so boring to watch

Now this is the important point,he’s clearly getting a bunch of younger players in and trying to try to play the city way,so we have to give tinnion time to get it working sorry I meant Manning

I really hope that i lose........but this match looked so predictable?    Backed 0-1 and 0-2 on Betfair.    We are just so very weak upfront, hoping the perceived inevitability is completely wrong??

Rarely bet against city but my 0-3 doesn’t look like coming in,I really hope manning is learning from this though

Interested in peoples thoughts on what Bellingham " supposedly " said to Greenwood in last nights La Liga encounter. Unprofessional yes, but JB seems to be getting a lot of flack on social media, and a there seems to be a lot of support for MG, almost like people have forgotten the audios that came out.

Bellingham is a fantastic player and was raised right by his parents,Greenwood may have got away with it by money but I think we all know the truth so I would say it fair shout to the young man

If we get there, I just want a winnable tie. Not interested in a top 6 circus fixture. The Man City game was way less enjoyable than the cup run this season. Terrible atmosphere that evening too.

Would love to see us get one game from Wembley. So Maidstone at home please.

Going to be a huge task to get into the 5th round either way.

The Man City away game atmosphere was unbelievable but I’m guessing you mean at home
