  1. The bit you highlighted takes the point I make out of context. His ability and versatility are not in question. I'm saying that going to Bournemouth and getting more game time in a side that I think are likely to struggle and or be in a relegation battle versus a more limited game time scenario but interacting on a day to day basis with a better club / better players for a player at 19 years of age is a better scenario.
  2. I see him as a 19 year old with relatively little experience in the Championship and none in the Premier. Using your example of Spurs (but insert many other teams here) he will have immediate development by working and training with top quality players day in day out. I'm not saying that Alex Scott is as good Phil Foden but he seems to have done pretty well by being used sparingly in this way and has continued to develop. I think this would be preferable and better for Scott's development in this type of scenario than playing more regularly in a Bournemouth team that could well be in a relegation fight all season.
  3. They are no more ambitious than any other Premier club. The new manager is untried and can spout off as much as he wants about the type of football he 'wants' to play. New stadium, so what? They can offer more than we can right now and that is a given. I'm not having a dig at your post by the way. I think the 'outcry' you refer to is that many feel that if he is to go then go somewhere better. If Bournemouth pay what we are asking and there are no other bidders for the same money, then that's a completely different scenario. I guess it will then be up to Alex if he wants to take the move.
  4. Heckles were raised with me when firstly the sources named Bournemouth and then further raised when 15 Million was stated as the opening bid. Regardless of whether they subsequently meet City's valuation, I just don't want him going to bloody Bournemouth. I see them as Premier also rans and nothing much more than that. Whilst that is probably acceptable for the likes of Lloyd Kelly and Antoine Semenyo. I see Alex Scott as many levels above both of those players and it would be better for him that if he does go, then go somewhere different than Bournemouth.
  5. I like what you did there. Small clubs and Matty the Snake ?
  6. I just wish it wasn't bloody Millwall. The small mercy being that it isn't Cardiff or Swansea.
  7. That's why he was taken to the Avon Gorge Hotel for a bite to eat first.
  8. Due to having someone ITK at the Bristol City Planning Department. I have managed to get a photo of the stand that is being built (assembled) at the Swamp. It's quite impressive compared to the former effort and you can clearly see the space underneath for the much lauded 'Concourse'.
  9. I'd hate that job trying to assemble it with one of those little Allen keys from Ikeal.
  10. I think you have misunderstood. It is to be as big as John Atyeo.
  11. After I posted my comment I thought, hang on a minute. If one of the measures of picking a player was how much of a cock a player is then the squad would be very depleted. I have seen him play quite a bit but regardless of his cockness he just doesn't seem to be at the right level yet. I'd be very happy to be proved wrong though.
  12. Gibbs-White seems to be a bit of penis though (you can choose your own bit). Plus, I think U21's is about his level at present.
  13. Absolutely. Not only does it smack off desperation it just backs the club further in to a corner. I hope it drags on for ages and bankrupts the club. The only people I feel sorry for is Sala himself and his poor family however, Cardiff won't have even considered their feelings.
  14. Thanks for posting this and I'm no lawyer but FFS there is no way xG would hold water in any court as an argument to get any level of compensation let alone 110 Million Euro. The club has and always will be a vile little turd lurking in the bowels of South Wales. They will lose the case and will have a big f@ck off legal bill to find as well.
  15. They have got planning for a stand that faces away from the pitch.
  16. Didn't he take over Michael McIndoe's client portfolio?
  17. Don't forget that they will expect a new stadium for the sum of f@ck all.
  18. 'bigger fanbase than Plymuff'. I mean c'mon you know!!!
  19. Apologies if posted elsewhere. If you thought the photo of their away support was embarrassing. Listen to this deluded fool!!
  20. I was there that night. When it was announced that it was being abandoned, it got the biggest cheer of the night. We were dreadful. I can't remember the result when it was replayed though.
