  1. None of this makes any sense at all. Sorry, I'm not trying to be awkward. I just don't get it.
  2. Agree with this. However, I do feel uneasy about games being abandoned. I need to be careful how I type this as I don't for one minute want to come across as not taking incidents like this seriously. However, there will be those who will use any means to turn a situation to their advantage. We have all seen matches where organised groups of spectators have gone out of their way to racially abuse players. I'm sure they would love to see the match they were watching abandoned. All those involved in football need to be very careful about abandoning matches. Feels like a giant can of worms being opened. I don't have the answers I'm afraid.
  3. I still call it 'taped'. God, I'm old.
  4. I read yesterday that Mendy was supposed to be 'suspended' by Man City pending the outcomes. I guess this means he is suspended but still being paid? By the way I'm not saying he should or shouldn't be paid until something is proven one way or another. Just interested if anyone knows?
  5. Oh well. At least the Heddlu thugs will be well p!ssed off that they won't be able to throw their unnecessary bully boy weight around.
  6. I get where you are coming from but then we have to put up with them next season (if we stay up). Newcastle fans are obnoxious to say the least and that dreadful F'cking song Leeds fans sing over and over is almost as tedious as the whore song.
  7. Blige there's one for the kids! (Just to be clear I'm not insinuating anything inappropriate).
  8. I wasn't going to post about this as I was going Saturday but now I'm not. A few of us were coming up on the train from Devon but I really can't be arsed with a 3 hour round trip on train wearing a poxy mask. So it isn't the worry of catching COVID that is keeping me away but more about the process of attending. As a double jabbed plus booster recipient I'm still really p!ssed off that the reporting of cases, hospitalisations and deaths are reported so poorly. As a population we should get a breakdown of how many of these people are vaccinated versus non-vaccinated. I think it would help people make decisions about attending games. In addition, it was reported today that 24% of people in the official figures of people in hospital today as COVID patients were actually admitted for another reason i.e. women in child birth, car accidents etc, etc. They just happen to have COVID at the same time. That really can't be the right way to report figures or am I way off mark here?
  9. It was Ben Ainslie. He never made it but he should have sailed in to that side mind.
  10. In these types of situation I always find a back scuttle will suffice me babber.
  11. Of course he would. He is likely to be in his late 90's at least before it happens!
  12. Need to be a gurt big dart board to get his ridiculous head on it.
  13. That was proper lush. Dear old Terry ?. Jon Shaw's double save. I loves that sh!t.
  14. Joey Barton looks like he's coming down off a big sesh doing lines the size of Santa's eyebrows. He always looks dodgy AF but blige that just isn't right!
  15. Predictably annoying!! Bad enough that PL teams are playing each other on TV but in the FA Cup it will be largely 2nd string line ups in any case. There isn't a game I would watch on that list. The 'magic of the FA Cup' dies that little bit more every year. It should be about the non-league and lower league teams and their involvement. It also gives them a bit of exposure on TV across the world and some much needed cash.
  16. Barton looks more like Ned Flanders on Roids !
  17. I'm not sure if he has the drive to succeed.
  18. On the flip side they have a huge catchment area. So if they scouted well and early enough then they could and should do better IMO. I know they don't have an Academy set up like City have but they just have no presence anywhere in Devon and Cornwall. The catchment area for supporters is also huge but they are fickle as f@ck. As someone who has been around the local football season at a decent standard in Devon I feel the huge barrier you refer to is also part in there own making.
  19. I haven't read through 2 pages of responses so I apologise if this has been posted already. ITV and insert any broadcaster name are obliged to make the 'apology' and the reason being if they don't then viewers can raise a complaint about the bad language. The broadcaster can then be held accountable i.e. a fine. The 'apology' basically covers the back side of the broadcaster in question. That said, it still gets right on my tits!
  20. Absolutely Galley! I put something about this on another thread. Let's see if he is indeed the Messiah as thought by some on here or just a naughty boy.
  21. Good news! That should stop the constant clamour for him to become the next City boss next time we lose!
  22. With or without Schnorbitz Bernie Winters was sooo unfunny. An olden days Michael poxy McIntyre IMO.
