Walsall shot from distance not far over after Ayling heads clear cross.
-
Pint of Guinness number 2.
-
Pack shot from distance comfortable saved low to keepers left. Mark little run and one two with Agard is mopped up easily. 38 gone. Sawyers booked for foul.
-
Who to?
Nothing given. Possibly a foul on Little but I think it would have been soft. Game has settled a little. Both sides playing well.
-
Walsall spell of possession but defending well stopping crosses coming in. Successive corners defended well before long range strike is over the bar. Goal kick into Walsall half. Last 10mins Walsall 60% possession. Wilbs header over bar. 28mins gone.
-
Agard chance from a good chase down but took to long to shoot. Shot blocked and keeper gathers.

My laptop died earlier today and all attempts at trying to access a stream on my phone have resulted in abject failure. Hoped that with the VPN I'd be at least able to follow on radio bristol but alas, rights issues mean it ain't on tinternet so I'm stuck trying to follow the action on this thread. All updates greatly appreciated.
We're dominating. Something in the region of 70% possession. Looking calm and composed for the most part. Walsall have had a break or two but nothing of real note.

1-0 Flint from a corner. Get in

I missed the build up as the pub were showing Liverpool v Man Utd, did Matt Smith make an appearance?
-
Don't pundits always say 2-0 is a dangerous score because quite frankly it sounds much more appealing than 1-0 to me
I'd say being 4-0 down is pretty dangerous.

Agreed, though as others have said I could see Agard having a bit more luck. Maybe Elliot for Saville too
That's exactly what I'd do.
-
Winston Reid is a bloody good player
That said, on this showing we've got some bloody good players too
For me, he's making the difference at the moment. We could be ahead.
-
Fear not... They will not lose that one.
Good call.
-
Perhaps we need to change to 4-4-2.
-
What squad numbers have our new loans been given?
Tavernier 24
Saville 12

With absolutely no disrespect to Crewe at all (who, like others, I admire as a club), we need to be winning these games if we have any intention of being promoted. I'll take any sort of win today, even if we have to grind out a 1-0.

I feel I have to apologise in advance.
I have been able to make five Saturday home games, W5 D0 L0 F13 A5
I can't really make mid week games so missed.... 2.....W0 D2 L0 F2 A2 + defeat if you add the Oxford game.
Today I will be otherwise occupied and will miss a Saturday game.
I do feel a little responsible if we drop points but, with luck and with it being a whole new City maybe we'll win without me.
Today could be a good solid steady win , 2-0 and with Preston at Rochdale and Swindon at MK Franchise it could be a very good day.
It's okay. I have the exact same attendance record as you and I am attending today, so we should be alright.

Name the four teams who, in their history, have finished runners up in England's top division, and runners up in the FA Cup (don't have to have been in the same season), but have never won either trophy?
Bristol City: League runners up 1906/7, FA Cup Runners Up 1909
-
We'll easily get out the group according to some
Now trivia, What team has a completely unique kit in the football league (colour wise) I believe they are the only team to wear the colours?
Blackpool?
-
there was a time when Rovers and ex Rovers players were top scorers in all four divisions
Stewart (Ipswich) Hayles (Fulham) Cureton (Gas) and one other?
EDIT: Unless Cureton had gone to Reading by then.
-
Yes, one left.
Porto. (Porto & Boavista?)
-
Frank Lampard?

Since 1970 there have been four instances of two players sharing the same first name and surname who have been capped by England. A rugby equivalent would be Richard Hill (i.e. there have been two different Richard Hills capped by the England rugby team). What are the four names?
Gary Stevens is one of them.
EDIT: And Alan Smith is another.
