  1. This why I'm falling out of love with football no Pay on he Day for a friendly with 500 tickets sold pathetic
  2. So he should be, never should have been given a chance as a player at our level or manager at any level, zero man management skills, but talks great bullshit and so mamy idiots fooled by the patter. Will get another job somewhere, always another idiot blinded by the CV.
  3. Blimey 20 pages of next seasons kit, I reckon it will be red, and white, a topic for discussion down the pub
  4. A thrilling 0-0 draw home to Middlesbrough in 1967, dad sat me on the wall at the front of the open end with a packet of salt n vinegar crisps.
  5. Bristol City wish Neil Warnock has appeared on Soccer Saturday During one of a number of memorable appearances on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday, Warnock spoke of his relationship with the fans of Cardiff's rivals, Bristol City. “I joke with their fans that, when I do pass away, I hope they all have a minute’s applause for me at Ashton Gate and remember the good times I’ve given them,” explained Warnock. "I don’t want silence. I want them all to be chanting ‘Warnock’s a w*****’ over and over again. For a whole minute. That would be my ideal.”
  6. Nice little attempt to discredit speech that - except your comments are misleading. By pushing I don’t mean in the literal sense, but anyway, having got through the back couple of rows I moved forwards to the rows in front and thereby - this is how terracing works - occupied lower rows. So no ones view was compromised and no “I’m alright Jackery”. Yes the stewards were clueless but equally the small number of fans I saw moaning were lacking in initiative and BTW were not elderly or with noticeable health issues. The days of packed terraces are in the distant past but it is impossible under today’s crowd restrictions to be unable to get a good view with plenty of space. In the days of terrace capacities of probably at least twice what they are now, where frequently it genuinely was difficult to get a good view, I nevertheless don’t think I ever came across anyone who would have even contemplated giving up on finding somewhere to stand, you just got on with it and found the best you could.
  7. Pathetic yes I’m afraid. As I said I just pushed through a few people to find somewhere to stand with a view, listening to a small number of whingers whinging to stewards as I did so. Today’s H&S standards dictate there will always be plenty of space on terraces, but in today’s world it seems some people have been conditioned to think that somebody else, in this case a steward, should sort their little difficulty, and somebody else, in this case FGR, are to blame rather than their own inability to show a bit of initiative.
  8. Pathetic. I was at the back near the centre at FG minutes before the game started without a view, and simply pushed my way through the back couple of rows where there was loads of room in front. Said fan would have wet himself at the Forest league cup semi final in 1988, just for example.
  9. I would imagine the unsung development coaches should take a lot of credit for that.
  10. My dad lived near him in Hartcliffe for a while. Spoke with him at the bar in the Whitchurch Folkhouse once, Shearer had just been transferred for £15 million, Cheese said he would have been worth almost that - Arsenal offered £250k in 1976 if I recall correctly, were turned down by City, and so they bought Malcom MacDonald for £300k instead. Love some of his answers: FAVOURITE OTHER TEAMS: Bristol City reserves and Bristol City youth BIGGEST THRILL: Scoring for Bristol City (not for example playing for Norwich in a league cup semi final or scoring forNorwich at Anfield) BEST COUNTRY VISITED: England PROFESIONAL AMBITION: To help City gain promotion Top man.

A couple of things on this. Firstly, if the people with this banner didn't realise that "All Lives Matter is a racist slogan when used as a response to Black Lives Matter", it cannot be a racist slogan, to them. Notwithstanding the above, where is the rule written down which says "All Lives Matter is a racist slogan when used as a response to Black Lives Matter"?
  12. Yes to the extent that my financial support is restricted to tickets with hardly any expenditure on merchandise.
  13. Anyone ever closely associated with an addictive gambler will recognise that football clubs with gambling companies as sponsors on their shirts is obscene
  14. Havent looked for a while but Sunderland fans continue to be unimpressed with the LJ bullshit. Worst run since 2017/2018 doesn't ruffle Johnson Just a question of pressing the right re-set button apparently. He's even confident and looking forward to the play offs. Is he right or is he alright? My instinct tells me he’s waffling shite. He's done here, proved he's not upto the job. Needs to reset himself the fkn chancer. If he spent as much time picking the team as he does on selecting his touchline attire we'd be sound. Bloke's not fit for purpose. Well it should. I dont like him and his smirk. I’ve watched blokes in betting shops confident that the next one will win and wipe out all their losses. Johnson’s the same as them. He’s a gambler dressed up as a tactical and motivational genius. johnston thinks he some sort of genius Why does he always come out with riddles clichés etc. starting to really get on my nerves now. speaks a good game but cant deliver. he would have a great career in politics. dont like him Lee Johnson says one or two players have been affected by their contract situation at #SAFC. Sounds to me like he's throwing them under the bus. Seems like it’s look at them and not Lee scenario He's such a bullshit merchant. ******' hell. Maybe they don't know their pomos from their super strengths. Surely all the other clubs must have some players in the same situation...?
  15. No so sure those stats weren’t meant to be serious mate but anyway fair play to Divvy for saving the season!
  16. Are you actually being serious Harry? Before Cotterill we had 2 wins from 19 games with 15 points. That's 0.78 points per game. You could take various periods afer he arrived, but to focus on his first 14 games yes it was 4 wins but with 5 draws and 5 defeats and 17 points. That's 1.2 points per game. So statistically Cotterill improved us by 50% in his first 14 games. That took us to the beginning of February by which time Cotts had sorted out the shit and brought in what he could in the transfer window, which enabled him to continue his improvement which was nothing short of miraculous. Give the bloke a bit of credit mate.
  17. Your mate may be saying that now mate, after a couple of easy victories, but after a couple of defeats and LJ blaming eveyone bar himself and talking absolute drivel again, I dare say your mate may have a different opinion. These comments from just the first of 14 pages in response to LJ's post match comments after the defeat against Shrewsbury, could have been lifted straight off of OTIB: Thought we were good for a draw . It’s ****ing Shrewsbury. Looks and sounds a beaten man USP!!! He’s bigged up every team we’ve played just in case Talks a lot, says nowt Would rather lick up someone’s cold spew than listen to the shite coming from his mouth. Thinks he knows it all but knows **** all. Back to basics already he says.... POMO and Bomb Alley binned Watched 40 seconds and had to switch it off. I would drop the Mr marra, He is losing my respect rapidly Absolute Whopper
  18. If that’s the same gig I was at Sting broke off mid song and said he’d walk off stage if anyone else gobbed on him. He was dripping in phlegm and didn’t much like it. Loved punk but that aspect was disgusting.
  19. Yes it's funny isnt it, many people if faced with a choice of saying whether that was describing LJ or SC, would say SC, due to perceptions, but everything I heard about SC, from somebody who witnessed it first hand, is that he is very good at managing and relating to players, all of whom had a lot of respect for him.
  20. One of my favourites: "Someone tell him him he’s supposed to be managing a footy club and not a junior executive at an advertising agency. USP my ****ing arse. Unless he means his uniquely shit patter"
  21. You are right I am far from a fan of LJ as I think he's been gifted a very lucrative career way over and above what his playing and managerial capabilities warranted. Wouldnt bother me if it wasnt to the detriment of the football club I've supported for more years than I'd like to own up to. But to suggest that your comments above provides "perspective and balance", considering that 90% of the Sunderland fans are mocking and taking the piss out of Johnson is grossly inaccurate.
  22. With all respect, that is absolute rubbish. The sale of Baldock financed Cotts' signings, which he transformed into players worth several times their cost. Johnson then benefitted from that, plus youngsters for whom the academy coaches not Johnson should be given credit, to sale for massive amounts in order to spunk on players like Engvall and others.
  23. That's true he measured the bleedin grass and i was there at Sunderland when he did it. Innovator? Tosser more like.
