There aren't any leaders in this whole squad.
The fact that Nahki Wells, a bloke who clearly doesn't want to be here and has no loyalty or passion towards our club, was the one leading the pre match huddle says it all.
The only one who attempts to lead out there on the pitch is Bentley but a keeper as captain just doesn't work.

That list is pretty spot on.
Only comment I would have is that Martin has got the 6th most Championship goals in history so would be a handy asset to keep around IF we had 2 other proper strikers who were playing week in week out. We don't even have one currently.
There's a couple players on that list who should have been moved on years ago IMO - O'Dowda for one.

I wonder if he was offered a 1 year deal to manage us what he would say...

Looking at the pictures from Saturday's game it seemed that large portions of the stadium were cordoned off?
Not sure if the venue isn't quite finished yet or whether it's due to no nets in front of the two goals or something similar?

0-0 for me, which I would be happy with.

An effective false 9 is a difficult thing to pull off. Hence why most of the examples listed above are with top teams and players.
The chances of us successfully playing with one right now are about as slim as Joey getting off scot-free on his impending court date.

He’s now offering to meet people in person who have raised these issues on Twitter!
What a club we are. First home win in nearly a year and now the stadium announcer is offering to test people’s chin at the coffee shop.

Looking forward to a similar video from the womens team changing rooms. That is if Bristol Sport deem Downsys post to be ok. Like many have said, if we are striving for equality, thats exactly what it has to be
Had my arse pinched by a female colleague at the photocopier last week. Didnt bother me in the slightest. Was just workmates mucking about. Would i think of doing it myself, not a chance as I know the shitstorm it could potentially create
Alright no need to show off

Thanks for the explanation.
Although to be honest it raises more questions than it answers!

Is anyone else still really confused or is it just me.
What do the emojis that Downsey has used mean, and why does someone retweeting someone else's content become inappropriate?
Those emoji's are commonly used to show a kind of sweating brow. When used under a picture of a model in a bikini say it would mean the user thinks the image/person is attractive/sexy.
So used in this context by Downsy it seems entirely inappropriate for a person in a position of 'power'.

Looking on the website it seems to suggest they have a game on Sat 13th Nov and then another one the next day?
Is this correct?
I've never watched an ice hockey game in my life but think I will attend one in the next couple of weeks. As others have asked can you buy tickets on the day?

Conte already in London for talks apparently.
Only 3 more Spurs managers until Christmas!

If he wasn't playing as his manager instructed him to do, he'd have been hauled off. How do we know this? Because that's exactly what happened the week before!
So I'd have thought that tucking in, playing close to Kalas, and leaving space out wide was, in fact, exactly what his manager had instructed him to do.
Pring was doing exactly the same on the other side. Further evidence, if it were needed, that our full backs weren't having "a shocker" at all.
As for "hoofing the ball forward" - presumably you missed the fact that, rather a lot of the time, our full backs had no-one available to pass to other than a ball down the line aimed at Chris Martin (in case you hadn't noticed, this has been our default way of playing since day 1 of this season).
My amateur analysis is that our full-backs often had no-one to pass for numerous reasons - the way Barnsley set up, the fact we played with no width at all, the fact Bakinson is frequently a passenger, the fact Massengo's attempts to cover every blade of grass on the pitch, at least twice, means he ends up anywhere but central midfield, and Matty James can't be everywhere at once.
So if anyone's had a shocker...
All very interesting to hear your opinion but it is no more correct than mine is.
The fact that Nige was verbally helping and encouraging Tanner during the second half would indicate that he thought he needed a bit of guidance from the first half.
Why does Prings performance have anything to do with Tanners? One of them having a good game and one of them improving as the game goes on are not mutually exclusive. Funnily enough it can happen.
Your 'amateur analysis' as you say is exactly that - just your inexperienced opinion, no more correct or incorrect than anyone else's on here. No need to get so offended and protective of certain players.

As mentioned above think you can apply that to the whole team at the moment.
At times on Saturday, especially from goal kicks and set pieces, it looked as though none of the 11 players had ever met each other before. Seemingly absolutely no plan on what to do in those situations.
What do they practice all week in training?

First half an hour on Saturday he had a shocker, got dragged into the box towards the goal and left his man free out wide on multiple occasions, Massengo was pointing it out continuously. Think it affected his confidence as he kept hoofing the ball forward.
But the second half he improved massively, obviously realised where he was going wrong, no doubt it helped with Nige being next to him and he saved a certain goal with some brilliant defending.
Only a good sign that he is improving throughout the course of 90 minutes.

Anyone know what happened at half time with one lad from the singing section being escorted out?
Lots of others around the area that didn’t seem happy with the stewards handling it.

Concede in the 91st minute then can't bring on an attacking player to change the outcome? And we all know time wasting starts much earlier than the 91st minute
Why can’t the 11 already on the pitch try and change the outcome?

Yes you are. Or at least, I've never been stopped both bringing my own in or buying one from the concourse.
I’ve been stopped dozens of times at football matches and made to take the plastic lid off of a bottle.

Benarous definitely in the squad for me, and maybe Janneh as well.
Need to go back to 4 at the back with 2 up top.

if they did,i would hope they introduced 'no alcohol' areas for those that want to watch the game without any of the above inconveniences. cant understand why anyone would spend £30 plus for 90 mins then waste a load of it for the sake of a beer. if you get that thirsty, take a bottle of water/coke etc in with you
As long as you want to drink it all in one go as you're not allowed to take the lid in.
-
Couldn't you get round the time wasting aspect by not allowing any tactical substitutions after the 90th minute?

Will likely be going to this but will be waiting until after Saturday before buying my ticket.
If the performance is like the recent ones I don't think I'll bother.

What's the point in sending them out on loan?
Wells and Palmer never going to do anything here so get them off the books ASAP in my opinion.
A loan for Bakinson would possibly help him but he would need to improve massively in a short space of time if he is to be in our future plans.
