Yep although I had no faith LH was going to get around to overtaking him.
The mercedes does seem quicker at moment, it will be interesting to see how it goes next couple of races. I can't help think we're going to have one more 'incident' before the end of the season.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's more than one.
When it gets down to the last few races and Verstappen has that shot at a first World Championship he isn't backing out of anything with Lewis (not that he has done so far!).

Brilliant race yesterday from a tactical perspective.
I'm a LH fan but brilliant drive from Max. Convinced he was saving some of his tyres life for those last few laps when Lewis had closed the gap to nearly within DRS range.
Great effort from Perez as well as was ill before the race and then had no drink for the entire thing.

I'm fairly sure I've watched every Louis Theroux documentary released and they are always brilliant without exception.
His awkwardness in the earlier ones add to the greatness of them.

As this game is still in October I don't see it as a 'must win' to avoid relegation worries as there are so many games left to go.
However it is must win game in terms of breaking the terrible home form and getting the fans back on side.
If we lose to Barnsley I can see the next home game attendance being 12/13k.

I think we'll get a point tomorrow, West Brom looked poor at Swansea.

Loved the original films from all those years back but not so much the many remakes
Just watched the latest installment, glad to see the story etc back similar to how they used to be
The hardest thing, and this may sound daft was trying to figure out where the film was following on from.... I know, it took a while
Worth a look if you like the originals
Also watched this on Friday night.
Thought it was a decent scare Halloween style film on it's own merits.
However didn't think it was a particularly good addition to the series as got almost too ridiculous at the end for me. Think it would have been better if it had ended 5 minutes before it did, leaving him laying on the ground unsure of his state.

Jesus if you think we're struggling for goals now, would be even worse with that starting XI.
-
It shows what a lot of us have known for a while now, that he is one of, if not the most important outfield player.
Much worse team when he doesn't play.

I'm surprised no one has suggested yet that they would buy the Gas for a bit of fun.
Run the club terribly, pump no money into it but take everything you could out, relegate them back to non-league, buy out Millets to install some new tents at the Mem.
You could have all that fun and still have £183.7 million left in the bank.

No, and having that much money creates new ones that lots of people can't deal with. Must be quite difficult working out whether people like you for you or for your money.
Simple in a way - keep the people close who are close to you now.
Any new people that come crawling out the woodwork will be fairly obvious.
Can also see how that much money would lead to some people being dead within a year.

I think I'd do something similar to you with regard to friends/family and properties.
Unless you're really stupid, it's the sort of money where you should never have to worry about anything again - so I'd spend the majority of my time travelling and seeing as much of the world as possible.
Like you'd I'd want to do something charitable - I think I'd lean towards supporting a mental health charity aimed (mainly) at men. I don't mean that to sound divisive, just is something that I feel strongly about.
On the donation side I think you would have to target something you felt strongly about as you couldn't possibly help everyone in the world.

2- Familly.
3- Cider a years supply.
4- If it is 184 mill then give NP 50 of it to buy a center forward.
5- Give free season tickets to fellow City supporters where they have impaired family members and free car parking as well
I wonder how much of the club you could realistically purchase?

As the current Euromillions Lottery jackpot is £184 million and if won by 1 ticket would be the biggest UK winner ever, seems a good time to ask the question, what would you genuinely do with that sort of money if you won?
Personally I would buy all my friends and family something that would set them up for life, houses probably so no mortgage worries ever. For myself I would buy properties in my favourite countries in the world and probably 100+ cars. And of course a permanent box at the gate.
As for giving money away, I wouldn't give directly to charities but would set up something that helped those children around the world that need X amounts of money for pioneering surgery etc.

I'm sure this will fit in brilliantly with the the FA's stance of Kick it Out.

He'll go somewhere on a 1 month deal.
Score 3, set up 2, pick up player of the month.
Get offered a 3 year deal and then put his feet up once again, horrible bloke.

Well we haven't got a great deal to compete with him there either!

Have to disagree with some of these posts.
A fit Nahki Wells played through the middle is in the starting eleven for me.
Based on what though? His form at QPR?
Still yet to really prove anything in a City shirt.
If we had replaced Diedhiou in the summer I think Wells would be no where near the squad let alone starting.

Not sure it would have much effect during the game itself as he prefers to sit up in the stand anyway rather than on the touchline barking out orders.

Feel posts are being slightly harsh on O'Dowda here.
When was his last competitive match? - for me was one of few positive regarding player performances last season. Bakinson doesn't have the same excuse, he's looked static in every match played this season, namely due ball watching and poor mobility.
Players should be given a clean slate to some extent now we actually seem to have a competent manager.
Why?
O'Dowda been near to useless under 3 different managers. 157 appearances, 9 goals and 16 assists says it all.

Then Play Weimann up top and play Palmer off him. Anything would have been better than a knackered martin last night.
Agreed he shouldn't have started. Not sure Palmer is the answer though.
Stick Alex Scott up there to be a nuisance, he's got some pace about him.
