I think now players tend to 'fall over' early in the game to test the reaction of the Ref. If they get away with it then they will persist througout the game until it is one time too many and they are either warned informally or a card is produced
and yet when we were going through a bad patch fans were bemoaning his absence.
I think Nigel likes him, but he's not the same player that we signed those years ago and his injury did him no favours.
At the moment I'd like COD to play for the 1st hour and then bring Williams on, until Williams is fully up to match fitness. . tt would be good for COD to have competion (Ngiel favours him)and I'd actually like to see COD take the corners like he used to back in the day.
and backing Wayne. I think opting not to go for the Everton job , has certainly raised his profile amongst the Derby fans Seems to have committed his heart & soul to a club with which he had no previous connection.
But of course he wasn’t originally scheduled for the QPR match, so this is probably the game he was down to referee when the programme was arranged at the start of the season.
I'm not sure COD appears to be a favourite of Nigels and we might take up the option. Depends if he gets any offers, he didn't before but he's started to get back to the player we thought we had signed, so there may be a few offers out there.
