The way Ashton Gates redevelopment has been executed has been poor in my opinion. I was in favour of the move to AV and wish we still could
Care to elaborate?
I thought the work carried out, build and additions with have been done well. Enhanced the experience and made for a more comfortable time, not to mention better choice for substance.

Repugnant. Those that involve themselves in this shite tar everyone else.
As for us, I don't buy the we need our own element to step in - pure crap. Anyone serious is out of sight and only the green street brigade are dumb enough to give it "large"
When I was 15 I got smashed in the skull with a crowbar from behind by a group of five of ours who decided I was clearly a threat as they j jumped from the bushes on Wineterstoke - disfigured for life but could of been worse.

“The one thing I will guarantee the Gasheads is that I won't rest until I’ve given them a team that is capable of getting in the Championship, staying in the Championship and beyond that,” Barton added. “That’s why I’m here, that’s why I’m away from my missus and my kids. Leaving my kids on Christmas Day, crying, going, ‘Dad, where are you going?’ I’m going to get a promotion at Bristol Rovers again.“

Would be very odd to make such payments without some kind of certainty that a benefit would be derived.
Wasn't so long ago Italian football went through something similar, ended with Juve heading to Seria B.

Given this is fairly damning what are your views? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64717693
Does it surmount to cheating? If so what does it mean for that period of dominance?

He let Ashton/Johnson put the club in a compromising position did he not? One that we are still paying for today
Hardly comparable.
Trusting professionals to do the job they were paid to do vs a wife beating thug who can't stop being an ass.

Bang on the money. People go on about Warnock but Barton is the biggest shithouse in football bar none..........and there's nobody remotely close to him.
I think you are being kind! From when i first heard about him (cigar in an eye) I've been amazed hes stayed in football so long.
Perfect match for the gullible gas.

I want Nahki to score to get into double figures. He’s been so good this season.
The work rate and willing running he has put in certainly deserves it.
Testament to how hard he worked initially to get back into the team.

Keep thinking it will be close, however 2 -1 City.
Bell and Atkinson.
Norwich are a tough team so need a performance from everyone.

Loanees usually have a large chunk of their wages paid for by the parent club. As I said, I would prefer developing youth players, however, the majority of League One and Two clubs do rely on having half a dozen players from the loan market - that's the way the finances are managed these days.
Gold star for the club South of the river, who's enormous losses are bankrolled by their billionaire owner - you are not comparing like for like.
How much has your fake billionaire pumped into you? Gold star for going to the standard saggy go to

I did wonder when this would be revisited.
And he ‘Never’ did score 10 goals in a season so I guess as painful as it is I was ‘right’…..
I did say I would change the post once he gets 10 goals in a season.
I am sad to see him go.
We will miss him? Yes He is the only player who takes us up the pitch a bit like Albert used to do.
Runs at players and creates space and opportunities. Had power and pace.
We def need a player who can do that. Harry Cornick is a good player and happy to see him join but he is not that player and we do need one.
£10m is great business for the club.
Will he be a success in the Premier league and score goals don’t think so - I am sure I will get reminded of that but still it’s about opinions.
Good player for us ? No…. a great player for us on his day and as I think has been said not many players get you of your feet.
He’s a player who can do it at the highest level ? Not for me as a striker.
As wide in a front three (read my first post) yes maybe but premier is a massive step up.
Was he better than I first saw? - Yes massively improved
Has he scored more goals than I thought he would - Yes
Did he get 10 - NoWould he have done it this season - Maybe yes and I think I might have had to change the post like I said I would.
Seymenyo ‘maybe’ he is a Striker they score goals.
Genuinely gutted he’s left but it’s good for him and the club.
I will be watching him and hoping he proves me wrong (maybe we got a add on for more that 10 goals a season)
I offered you a bet on this and you ignored it. Literally 10 goals and you bottled.
Still an attention seeking ****.
10 million we got for him. As a striker.

Where were Rovers last season before they surged to 3rd?
You should be keeping an eye on Huddersfield's and Blackpool's games in hand, as it could leave you only four points above the drop zone. With your poor home form at the library, this has to be a concern.
You've been relying on teams below you being more s*it than you are for too many seasons and eventually this will catch up with you.
Now now, you shouldn't use naughty words.
No prizes for guessing your username on the saggy forum.
Do try harder if you are going to troll, bringing shame to the game.

I actually said that I thought both Stewart and Phillips were poorly treated by Johnson. And it was actually Stewart who questioned the selection of Bas Savage ahead of him and suggested it was insulting to him.
That's actually a counterfactual assertion, as you don't know that Johnson wouldn't have been equally successful had Phillips and Stewart featured in the side. Perhaps you can claim it is unlikely, but you cannot claim with certainty that the club would not have been any more successful had Johnson taken a different decision.
I hope Zain Westbrook does play well at L2. He has been desperately disappointing at Rovers but there is a player in there and, given time and the right system, he might realise his potential. Him succeeding at L2 would clearly not be one in the eye for Barton as Rovers are a League One club. Again, for your benefit, City were a L1 side and Stewart went on to play to a relatively high standard for L1 clubs.
Its disappointing that we are in the 21st century and that people still think it is acceptable to use terms such as 'weird' or 'odd' to dismiss those they disagree with. Or to make pathetic jokes about unemployment, knowing nothing about how this may or may not have affected the person they are speaking to. I would like to think everybody can do better than this.
No, that's about it!
What's your view on Joey as your manager? Surely must be some conflict with you having such a morale high ground.

Well you pay his wages, so you are entitled to expect improvement both on off the pitch. Nigel is old enough and has managed enough clubs to have learned how to speak to people who are only doing their job. Ferguson used to do it, but then he was a genuinely elite manager who had won everything in the game. Nigel........
Its unprofessional and I'm wondering if Lansdown has had a quiet word with him. If he hasn't, I'm wondering why not.
I'm wondering why you have so many opinions on a club whose name you you spell with an Asterix due to some odd belief that writing it would harm you.
I am concerned with professional sports hiring those of dubious morale's such as repeat offenders who seems to make a habit of GBH.
On topic Nigel is a breathe of fresh air, honest although somewhat rude at times.

Well I can speak equally confidently about PL football, if you would like. Just as you can, although presumably with less insight and perspective.
Come on darling don't hide away, like most of your fanbase I guess its easier to ignore facts and live in a dream world.
Is it an inbuilt saggy trait to not admit when you are wrong? Or does that go against the agenda?

The manager who took Yeovil up from league one was Gary Johnson.
Marcus Stewart was not in the squad.
Please use gas logic and show your working out.

You come across as clueless. Confidence is great however in this case misplaced.

On a separate thread, your fans discuss how Louis Carey, your record appearance holder, saw no reason not to cut you out of a deal and is apparently on less than ideal terms with the club. Phillips was similarly referred to as 'Flapper' by your 'fanbase'. Even Marcus Stewart, an actual c*ty fan, albeit one better known for the goals he scored against you, than for you, was treated pretty shabbily by your club after taking Phillips' side in his dispute with Gary Johnson.
Of course for some of our players, it is just a job. But many of our former players, including Jason Roberts, Steve Elliot, Nathan Ellington and Barry Hayles, still hold the club in great affection and some even attend games. Aaron Collins also clearly buys into the club and its ethos.
Ethos. A club built on loans, literally.
We have a long list of players with great relationships with the club. No club is perfect in it's handling of every situation Clint Hill being a nice example, add in how you treated Ben Garner or that striker who couldn't score Nichols. Stefan Payne called your lot out and you hated it.
That fact you are using an asterisk sums you, cherry pick an argument and fail to make any sticking point.
Fact. Johnson achieved more then your club ever will.
Fact. Basso was better then Philips
Fact. You employ a manager with a history of violence but he vindicated because he loves da gas.
Please troll harder.
