On the contrary there is plenty to see.  I lived and worked in Saudi in both Riyadh & Jeddah and there was plenty to do and see and certainly not just sand for miles and miles.

    Couldn't agree more.

Wouldn't believe everything you hear about the middle east, genuinely always enjoy heading there.

The fact that there were literally thousands of deaths means there was probably a few of them dying every single day. The fact that they must have seen this, and chose to continue doing it anyway speaks to a level of cruelty and greed that I can't comprehend. It's very easy for me to say, but if I were a footballer I would hope that I would not even consider participating. For me it's equivalent to the Holocaust, albeit on a smaller scale. Personally I won't be watching a minute of it.

    Since 2010,  6500 deaths.

Head over to the national office of statistics, will blow your mind with the rates in the UK!

I have no agenda, just an opinion. I saw his interview tonight - incredibly sad about the death of his baby. No idea why you are so triggered

It is awful, something no one should suffer.

    Triggered moi? No no monsieur.

All opinions, just no need to be an ass.

I said nice guy and said she said no, I posted links that accused him of it, even I think he was in the wrong, I never actually stated I accused him

Fair enough, just don't see the point of posting something like that.

Not gonna go into this cuz I like your posts about City and we are all entitled to our opinions, only them 2 really know what happened as do United and Ronaldo

Yet you accused him of rape.

Laughable. I’m not so sure you have all the evidence available to do a full cost benefit analysis but I suspect Ronaldos value has plummeted recently, even before he opened his gob. Post interview his value is even less.

Ive not insulted anyone in this thread. Just stating facts

The guy is a billionaire through sponsorships, the financial impact he has at clubs is well known, try Google...it will save you from looking feckless.

Laughable indeed, you utter clown. Facts.

You have no clue Ronaldo is speaking the truth about disrespect. You will never know, frankly.

The only fact here is he is currently employed by Man U and publicly trashing them while still getting paid. Most people understand disrespecting your employer is a bad thing so not so sure while you are struggling to grasp this simple point.

Once again. Football is unlike most other industries. The point is he wants out. The trashing works both ways, leaks and paper talk is instigated by clubs and players.

Ronaldo through his name alone brings into that club a fortune, it's a marketing dream and sponsors lap him up. At his level respect is certainly a big issue and he is now hurting them were it hurts, their pockets. Perhaps instead of insulting people you grasp this simple point.

Only trying to forge a conversation (that’s the whole point of OTIB).

Not really proved wrong - read my original post. I have not changed my opinion.

Its still relevant as he ain’t scoring.

As I said if he gets 10 in a season I will change the thread.

Again thanks for feedback but it’s still a long way away from a contribution but keep going.

As for ridiculous - Thanks again for the feed back.

Playing 442 - Yeah it’s like so ridiculous where did I get that from.

Playing Bentley in goal, Naismith in midfield, Wells & Wienmann up front, Vyner RB, Seymenyo wide in midfield who can also join upfront, Pring at leftback, Kalas at CB….

Shall I go on - like you say ridiculous….

And and one more Seymenyo is better wise rather than a striker because I don’t think he will score 10 a season.

    All way of the mark…

    Ridiculous - me.

Just have a little think before you post.

    PS

C7 look at his record - Striker Yes

Seymenyo look at his record - Striker No (not yet)

    Hope that helps.

    Again thanks for feedback.

You didn't answer any of my questions so will leave it at this.

If you think that team in 442 is the ideal we will never be able to agree.

As for AS when he gets back on the goal trail I'm sure you will congratulate him.

    Again better.

’But’ if he was scoring goals the thread and your opinions would not be being raised.

I am only quoting the ‘facts’

I love you say they suit me agenda. That’s kind of it works…

Goal post never changed - Just read the title of the thread.

Again better but still some work to do.

Aww, you are trying really hard aren't you!

When you say something it doesn't make it fact, it's an opinion - whole point of this forum is to share opinions, of which in this case you are wrong.

Tell you what I bet you £100 that AS gets 10 goals this season and 5 assists. Winner takes all what do you say?

This thread was made to deride a young player. When said player proved you wrong - facts being he was scoring - you shut up. Now the better red / Dog /Lez show is back because the timing suits you, makes you look like an arse.

Help me on this on, using your logic and posts in this ridiculous self opinionated attention seeking thread-  if I swapped AS with Ronaldo who has 1 goal this season by your reasoning Ronaldo is not not a striker because facts. Correct?

I'll not even mention you team selection or tactical masterpiece you shared earlier - hilarious as it was.

    That is slightly better.

Try to just reflect and comment on the subject rather than Kai throwing out insults.

    But still it’s an improvement

if you look at your comments are still only 20% ‘opinion’ so a long way to do.

Again thanks for feedback and the improved contribution and comment.

As for scoring goals it’s zero in eight….

You are still struggling with what an opinion is.

Flattered you are so interested in my posts and opinions. There isn't a quota on posts Vs opinions - poor effort.

I guess from the grammar mistakes you are rattled, try to relax and just inhale the gas you so enjoy.

Let's be clear - when AS was played as a striker last year before injury, meeting your objective of scoring goals ( coincidentally when you retreated to your hole ) he was a striker. However he didn't score enough goals for your liking when you tried to change the goalposts to coincide with your view that he  wasn't a striker, to which you dragged up this thread to try to prove a point and again garner attention.

Now you are saying zero in 8, it's pure tosh given him being eased in but fits your agenda. You are both needy and ridiculous - my opinion.

    Great contribution

Ridiculous - Playing Seymenyo wider will make us better is so far wide of the mark - You really think so?

Maybe you just don’t get what a debate is about and I guess football from your comments.

Have an opinion that’s all I am saying - not right, not wrong but certainly not ridiculous.

    But thanks for the feedback

A debate involves contrasting views being discussed, to which you just keep peddling out the same tosh, telling everyone you are right and then moving the goal posts when challenged. How you are still trying to prove a mute point is frankly hilarious.

It wasn't feedback, it is an opinion as is this and the below. Happy to help in trying to support any other knowledge gaps you may have.

Given your panache for the resurrection of old threads to A) feed your ego and B) fulfil your need to troll indicates you are not here to debate but rather be a fairly insubstantial sad little ****.

AS played upfront will score goals. As proven through the statistics of playing him upfront and him scoring and assisting goals.

As wind up merchants go you are poor.

How about just a slight injury?Just enough to keep him out of the World Cup.Actually, with how things are going for him at the moment it may be interesting to see how much game time he gets in Qatar.

    :D

It's a good point and I'm sure the UK rags will push that; I can see him starting every game - he is focal to the setup. Portugal has a great squad on paper and a lot will depend on how he leads the line.

Realistically last time at a WC we will see him, Messi and potentially Neymar (now there is a proper cesspit of a human)

With respect Heinz, plenty of people would be happy seeing Ronaldo fall flat on his face, including myself.

Fail is one thing injury is another, suspect more wish to see him succeed but it's all opinions :)

You have a word with yourself, pal.

Is he still one of the best players in the world ? Yes, he is.

Is he still an arrogant tosser ? Yes, he is.

Wise up. You are a grown man hoping someone gets injured.

  14. 21 hours ago, The Gasbuster said:

Hope he gets injured while training on his own, and fails to make the world cup.

    Let's see him cry again.

Have a word with yourself. What an idiotic comment amongst a fairly poor set of opinions.

Did he handle walking away well, no. Will he leave Man Utd, most likely. Is he still one of the biggest names in football/the world - well ask yourself why you are reading this.

Agreed about Messi. Football fans compare his goal ratio with Ronaldo but in truth he is more than that. He's a playmaker who scores goals for fun. The best passer, dribbler, goalscorer, assist maker and he's up there with the best free kick taker of the last 40 years at least. The only one who can compare for me is Maradona

All opinions. For me, best passer of a ball in recent times was Iniesta. Ronaldinho for dribbling. Ronaldo/Ronaldo as goalscorer.

Messi however was fantastic as a deep direct runner and his touch is incredible - one of the best ever, as Haaland will be barring injury or crazy lifestyle choices.

Altogether different players but enjoying that Haaland has rocked 3 leagues, scores goals and genuinely looks comfortable in a very competitive league.

If he went to la liga he would hit 35 plus a season without much issue and for me is way head as this generations best player.

I honestly think Nike are using the out of season tournament as a chance to test  sales data on the tolerance of customers to still buy product with significantly lower investment in design (ie cheap & amateur) since it will identify to them the potential to increase product dev margins in future years by reducing their design costs.

It's seems too great a coincidence that so many top countries are describing their 22 WC Nike kits as the "worst since X". Seen it for England, Netherlands and Portugal. Portugal's is beyond laughable, achieving the unthinkable feat of looking more tacky than the souvineer shop knock offs. Over social media I'm yet to see one single nice comment on official Portugal posts. It has been absolutely ridiculed by everyone.

Its an embarrassment, normally deliver a decent top so this is just woeful.

Myself and my cousin always get the Portugal tournament tops, this year its a hard no.
