I honestly think Nike are using the out of season tournament as a chance to test  sales data on the tolerance of customers to still buy product with significantly lower investment in design (ie cheap & amateur) since it will identify to them the potential to increase product dev margins in future years by reducing their design costs.

It's seems too great a coincidence that so many top countries are describing their 22 WC Nike kits as the "worst since X". Seen it for England, Netherlands and Portugal. Portugal's is beyond laughable, achieving the unthinkable feat of looking more tacky than the souvineer shop knock offs. Over social media I'm yet to see one single nice comment on official Portugal posts. It has been absolutely ridiculed by everyone.

Its an embarrassment, normally deliver a decent top so this is just woeful.

Myself and my cousin always get the Portugal tournament tops, this year its a hard no.

I honestly can't remember him breaking his leg with us.

I can remember him and Clayton Fortune were in that car accident in March 2002 and that seemed to change his game

The only time I can remember him breaking a leg was with QPR when he was out for over a year

    Wasn't that Kevin Amankwah?

Ok, and you are a *****, dont agree with me if you dont want to, thats fine.

In fairness you are way off the mark, Simpson was on peanuts and short term as we needed cover. Not tied into a 3 year contract with us trying to bin him off.

SOD set the foundations for Cotts to come in and flourish and get us out of League 1. I genuinely feel Cotts wouldn’t have done what he did if SOD hadn’t set the foundations for him.

All opinions but SOD for me was the absolute worst. Team of loans playing keep ball at the back with no plan of attack, no goals and the most sour man.

If by foundations you mean blooding youth fair enough but Cotts came in mid way through and with a few extra games may have even made the play offs in his first season - that was the foundation for the double season not mr flappy hands telling us to reduce our expectations.

England will bounce back under Southgate, our most successful manager since Ramsay.

    Good at beating minnows.

    Great and winning friendlys.

Been tested 3 times in tournament football and that stands a 0 - 3

He lacks the tactical ability to push on, with the group of players he has the team should be able to compete consistently and imo he has achieved nothing.

Part of the deal when we sold Jim Brennan to Forest.

Burns was (somehow) valued at 100k.

Rumour had it at the time we were trying to get a young Harewood, as part of that deal. 13 years later ?

Ok - Let’s go through it.

Bakinson - Right I think we all agree

    Moreton - Right

    Bell - Right

    Conway - Right

    Pearson - Right

    Jenah - Right

    Also add Towler - Right

    Also add Britton - Right

Scott -  Wrong - Good player like him good touch balance ‘ but’ needs to find his best position or could slip out the team.

Pring - Wrong - Good Player can play at this level -See my Post have we found out left back.

Max - Still not sure (likely Right) I think will end up in L1

Not sure it was that I was way of the mark.

    Thanks for digging out.

If it was to show I get more right than wrong - Thanks

No team which isnt going bust has 10 youth players in the line up! The fact we have 3 regularly playing with two in and around the team on match days completely shows your point to be wrong.

    Attention seeking again.

  8. Is anyone shocked by this? Almost every business reliant on people attending in person has suffered.

SL out posts aplenty on here but the reality of football is that we need him more then he needs us, nobody either as an individual or state run consortium would continue this level of investment.

Firstly re Scott, we also got £450k, which Joe largely spent on Martin Kuhl, so whatever we think of him, that sale enabled him to sign an experienced central midfield pairing.

With McAllister & of course it is subjective, but unlike many of the others, he was primarily a defender who was integral to the side that got us as near the Prem as we’ve got in 40 years & whose career included 6 seasons at Championship level, Mickey Bell, often seen on here as some sort of god (probably because of the free kicks & penalties) in contrast played just ONE season at that level in his entire career..

Bell had many an offer to go higher and probably should have given our inability to escape the 3rd. Having him constantly in the pfa team of the year says alot about the standard of performance we got from him for many a season.

Ooh bore off ??? your post is a complete load of bollocks . Where has this insolvency crap come from . Would that be the £50m of debt after the play off final defeat. Now who was in charge then that racked up a eye watering wage bill on shit over the hill players that resulted in relegation ? Oh yes Stephen Lansdown . You admit we got a weak squad . Crap players on big wages. Who agreed to the signings of these players . Oh yes Stephan Lansdown . There’s never been a clear football plan how to go about promotion of just getting better consistently .

if anything he’s wasted his own money thinking he knows about the game . Appointing people like tinnion & Kieth millen , mciines, LJ as managers . If he’d appointed a proper director of football to make the football decisions we wouldn’t be in this mess . But no, he appoints a wannabe in mark ashton not once but twice . Mistake after mistake. So stop talking complete & utter drivel

So are you SL in or SL out? Dont hold back.

Ill be leaving speaking bollocks to you chap, seem to be nailing it.

So , are you making a rallying call to the man , whose ineptitude as a owner has put us in the mess we’re in ? A man who twice employed a bloke who completely ****** up our recruitment. Yes , not once but twice he’s employed him. A man who saw fit to not question some of the terrible illogical signings over the last 4 years . Not questioned any of it .
Oh , sorry he built a couple of stands it’s all good , silly me. ?

    Bore off.

Show me a club owner that hasn't messed up, there is no magical formula and many many mitigating factors.

Weak squad not really a huge mess, but 2 windows away from what we need.

The guy has single handedly saved this club from an even bigger mess, also known as insolvency.

But hey f××k it lets try and do a Derby hey! All aboard the the no FFP bus!

Im sure SL regrets pissing in your cornflakes.
