  1. I was trying to spot their disability shed. Couldnt see it.
  2. Read that their captain might be subject to a bid from Forest, wonder what percentage of a Tilson they'll get for him.
  3. Rovers haven't done anything stupid for a few days now. I'm getting worried.
  4. Wonder if any of their employees are desperately hoping for a discount on the device that picks up pet hair...
  5. So for that professional football club experience, they chose to entertain potential sponsors away from the football stadium. Classic Rovers!
  6. Don't know the numbers, but the fella I was chatting with reckoned it was two grand a ticket with fifty tickets available for 3 prizes. Hone shirt, away shirt and some advertising boards around the pitch. Maybe they did add various bits of hospitality, but either way, it was 100k up front. Which is a lot for a club with a low profile and a stadium that doesn't lend itself to much in the way of media facilities and therefore pushes them down the 'telly list'.
  7. Has anyone else heard the rumour that Rovers haven't announced their shirt sponsor for next season because they don't have one? Whilst the comedy raffle that saw them sponsored by a pub was a laugh, it was also supposedly quite lucrative. Their new marketing man has apparently received offers from companies interested in having their company name scribbled on the shirts, but the money being offered doesn't come close to the lucky dip of recent years. Expect a national brand paying pennies for a season and back to the raffle next season. Source? Bloke in a pub on Gloucester Road.
  8. I have obviously missed something. At what point is them locking a thread calling HG a liar? Might simply be a case that they are going to consider further investigation.
  9. Got it. Gashead law suggests that people knocking teeth out should continue to be made welcome at the stadium until they hit a victim who complains. Did it not cross your mind that maybe, if the club can identify those responsible, they would seek address this themselves? Unlike the fewers, we aren't that desperate for support that we would miss a couple of wrong 'uns.
  10. Post them here. It'll make it easier for Gas chat to ban them. That said, a few of the Gas I work with went down the Gate for the first game and loved it (they took kids). No idea if they have done any of the other games, but I would imagine they have.
  11. He did indeed say it was reported and the club did nothing. It was then confirmed by Adam (then SLO) And Julie that no complaint had been made. Given the alleged victim was previously a season ticket holder at Ashton Gate (an all seater stadium) they should be able to identify the exact area where this took place.
  12. It is one of the sad things about your forum that you don't allow us to register and have some banter. It's almost as if you are embarrassed to be Gas.
  13. Are you suggesting that 99% of Catholic priests are Gashead?
  14. Absolute bobbins. "Help! Our bank has been cyber-robbed!" "Any evidence?" "Nothing. They were clearly very careful." "Well, according to Chief Justice Gashead we aren't allowed to investigate". Idiot.
  15. (A) when there were suggestions that the police had been heavy handed in a home game last season, those on the receiving end of what looked like was robust policing never made a complaint, but following witness reports it was investigated. (B) it might be that they have not yet found evidence based on a report that has changed several times since it was first published. (C) And this is why police investigate things. To try an establish the facts. (D) Not all crimes require a victim to complain. If for example, the investigation shows people behaving in a way that would put others at risk, they might be charged for a different offence. (E) The person who raised this has been quite clear that a former Bristol City season ticket holder was assaulted and had teeth knocked out, such was their distress and post traumatic stress, the were damaged sufficiently that they then wanted to watch the Gas. Saying there is nothing to investigate is sweeping some pretty serious reports under the carpet. And if this did happen and they are able to identify those responsible, then the match day experience of others will likely be enhanced by those people no longer being welcome in the stadium.
  16. Any idea if the original post from HG was pasted in to this thread? Might save a bit of time confirming the facts.
  17. At least one of the moderators have already said Julie wouldn't be welcome. Which is a shame.
  18. He has said previously that he knows the man as he is a regular visitor to his shop. So he will have a first hand account.
  19. About the incident involving the supporter or him being laptop-repair man at Ashton Gate?
  20. Guess we will find out in due course.
  21. I thought he said it was the South Stand. I'm sure someone more savvy than me can find the relevant posts on their forum though.
  22. To be fair, he has said he is happy to meet, has details of other people who witnessed the incident and all that sort of thing. Just hope he is consistent with everything he has posted over the last couple of years. He shouldn't has too much of a problem identifying various bits of the stadium, after all, he has said previously that he 'repairs laptops at Ashton Gate'.
  23. Shouldn't take long, given that he is now a witness to the crime, rather than just a third party. gree with you on this Hugo I know from personal experience that when i complained about some of the things posted about me and my company their Mods did act at the time but since then they have allowed it to carry on If PC Bristol Sport mens section 1982 would like to come and see me and show me her warrant card i would be more than happy to relate to her the full story and introduce her to some other witnesses who can corroborate the story. I won't hold my breath though
  24. In the Post today, their manager basically confirmed that Wally won't be putting any cash in.
