  1. Christ! The stand is on fire, save the cups... Don't worry, it hasn't spread to the canteen yet.
  2. I'll bet Wycombe are anticipating 'Blue Monday' which is similar to 'Black Friday' except that instead of getting a great discount on a clock radio from Amazon, they get letters from a West Country legal team threatening all sorts. This year, Sky Bet are offering a price boost on the following potential claims. 1/ Wycombe made us look like proper 'Nanas when we made a Brexit statement the day after the referendum, and we need compensation. 2/ It has been a really warm summer. Possibly too warm. This isn't right, and so far, Wycombe haven't denied responsibility. We have had to shell out for extra factor 50 for our fair-skinned players, causing a detrimental impact on our summer recruitment strategy. Again, we need compensation. 3/ Babestation. There is that pub in Wycombe, and, well... I think you'll find things speak for themselves... Compo. Needed. Sky have BOOSTED this so that it is now just 1/4 increased from their previous offering of 1/8 Sky know it's gonna happen, do you?
  3. A bit of an error there, I believe he meant to say, 'we've got 14" and 15" televisions'.
  4. Would there be the same supporters who following years of fund raising and subscriptions have managed to buy a whopping 8% of shares at a vastly inflated price? This doesn't scream dynamic.
  5. Classic #Gaslogic in what world is this a good thing, especially when they rely on every penny? ST sales being down is not necessarily a bad thing.
  6. He will probably open a security office, in London, with one security guard and at a cost no less than 250k.
  7. So this big investment could have been avoided if they stopped employing criminals who pocket the money they take.
  8. So does a temporary measure that lasts 3 years and increases the capacity of their stadium need planning permission...... Any planning experts able to advise?
  9. Not convinced the Fewers have any real comprehension as to what the improvements they have made to the Mem is likely to equate to in terms of playing budget. Reality is, nothing at all. The new shop. Pretty sure if someone was going to buy a new shirt, they would buy one. Either from a portacabin or from a proper shop. Can't imagine they will sell any more because the shop has been given a lick of paint. As for their new bar, they might sell a few more pints on the 22 or so occasions a season they have a home game, but what is the profit on a pint? Couple of quid tops. They deserve it though. If they had anything about them they would have organised the support and demanded answers from the board, instead they have done their usual of just accepting they are tinpot and lapping it up. Probably doesn't help them that the moment anyone questions anything about the club they get called a Ted and told to go to Trashton. Idiots.
  10. The new plan for this season is the 'lock in' - to replace the previously lauded 'lock out', Wally reckons that by charging people to go in, and then keeping them there, he can make a few coins on the concession stands.
  11. Given that Wally wants a self sufficient club and they won't put any money in, and they lose a couple of million a season.... And we consider that generally speak the cost of land and major building work increases year on year.... And we assume that a new stadium won't see change from 50mil.... With each year that passes, they are probably ANOTHER two years minimum from getting a new ground, and that timescale can only increase.
  12. I'm not that impressed by Wembley as a stadium. Just didn't feel remotely iconic or the 'home' of football.
  13. I like the 'lost to lower opposition' despite the fact they are 9 places behind them in the league.
  14. Wonder how long free speech will last on Gaschat. http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/12689/clarke-stewart-out
  15. Didn't the fans pay well over the odds for their 8% anyway, and continue to invest via their supporters club and all That sort of thing? I would be amazed if there are any Gashead feeling positive about that interview.
  16. Got radio Bristol on. Wally basically saying, 'we won't put any money in'. Wally being more evasive that a teenager driving a lowered Citroën Saxo whilst being chased by the police.
  17. He sounds like he is getting confused between libel and GDPR. I would also suggest this law firm he has appointed don't exist.
  18. His information is already in the public domain, eff all he can do. I thought an 'IT Professional' would have grasped this.
  19. Looks like he had Ready Brek this morning.
  20. Most transfers are paid in instalments.
  21. If you fancy a knighthood inducing laugh this weekend, Wally is apparently going to do a live interview with Twentyman on Radio Bristol. This could be golden.
