  1. Be quite surprised if they walked away, unless there are no interested parties in buying the Mem. Would imagine that Wally needs the sale of that to proceed, and if they want to stay there until the new place is finished that might be a stumbling block, given the European and global financial uncertainty.
  2. Does decent traffic means the roads are flowing quite freely, or that they all have nice cars?
  3. Hope the release clause is more useful than your finger on theekeeybboard.
  4. Reading Gays 2 Steve Lansdown Nil? *gets rainbow laces and goes to the bookies*
  5. Could be worse, imagine if there were 5 different goal scorers rather than just one bloke who was having a great night. Oh, hang on a second....
  6. Don't imagine, to quote that bloke from Crimewatch they'll be any night-MAREs this evening! Sounds as if only 7k could be bothered to turn up.
  7. Maybe if you had a reasonable sized supporter base, you too could enjoy a forum with a huge amount of user generated content. Didn't your official forum get closed down because you were collectively too stupid to debate in a sensible fashion?
  8. It'll be like the non league play off final when they had 45000 at a game with 30000 in attendance.
  9. And they've only had a home for a brief amount of time! Don't forget that. Eastville, Bath and then the Mem. It's almost as if they DON'T want to be a Bristol club. Imagine the shame their supporters would feel if their long term plan was to put them outside of Bristol like some sort of geographical franchise. Course, that would never happen. They'd be protesting, wearing funny colour scarves, demanding action and insisting they are the number one club in the city...
  10. Which is all the more amazing, given we has only existed since 1982.... #gaslogic
  11. This. If they don't show what a farce they've made the competition the organisers will never learn.
  12. Can't rinse them for not going to the cup games this year. A boycott that is to be supported
  13. Must have been a dominoes or tiddlywinks tournament or in Stroud that kept 'em away. Bound to have been a good reason anyway.
  14. Can anyone remember how many they took to their play off final against Grimsby in what was arguably their biggest ever game? I seem to recall that tickets were split in 3 ways, the two competing clubs and a neutral area. Just wondering if it add any clarity to the 'embarrassment' of only getting 19,000 at home, for a televised game on what is traditionally a night of the year when people go to fireworks display. I'm sure they'll have sold hundreds of thousands but the number escapes me.
  15. Technically it's not a clock. It was however the latest in modern technology when it started though. Believe they call them sundials.
  16. To be fair, a number of them have been nominated for Pride Of Britain awards. No surprise they haven't gone.
  17. If they were to build homes there, it might make a local supermarket viable!
  18. That'll be the renowned EFL team Chesham then.
  19. I'm pleased I somehow managed to miss the promotional guff that would have allowed me a free ticket. Usually I take advantage of the offer; but I'm far from annoyed that I missed it.
