  1. Police will likely throw a spanner in the works and request another game is moved for reasons that won't be clearly communicated.
  2. Just so you know... Monthly. £10.89 Annual. £56.83 2 year deal. £72.63 That's the cost of international travel using Nord Airways and their VPN scheme!
  3. We would have to replace Manning with (Danny) Cowley.
  4. Pretty sure that will be the way it goes, rather than lowering the price for the family area in the Lansdown; they'll look to price kids out of the South Stand.
  5. Have you made that comment each way?
  6. And in a possession based footballing environment; they would become hedgehogs.
  7. They needed to wait for Kate Middleton to give it a touch up.
  8. Why has he gone dressed as Larry Lamb in Triangle*? *Kids, ask someone who didn't have a video recorder in the early 90s and had nothing better to watch.
  9. Max. The number of touches he has had this season likely makes him the player most improved with the ball at his feet. Just need to work on that bit when he kicks it now.
  10. Won't be surprised to see Conway go, Pring to be sold and possibly one other (based purely on a rumour) to be sold.
  11. That's one of the things that really frustrates. We were told we were going to get front foot, aggressive football. We haven't seen it. We have also seen a less than full bench on occasions. Why not invite promising prospects for the U18s who did so well against Swindon to experience a 1st team preparation? Any results are papering over some massive gaps.
  12. Is your boss called Gene Hunt?
  13. Could well be that those in the strongest financial position have donated privately and directly to avoid publicity and the fees that come using a platform.
  14. Blimey! Page 2 for this thread. But don't worry - they've just had a Q&A with their new owners who are going to get them a Tier 1 academy so that they can be self sufficient. This means - I think* - that they'll be able to play themselves in the JPT or whatever it is these days. *I don't really think that, I'm just second guessing #GasLogic
  15. Bristol Rob is the best person on this Forum.
  16. 2 hours away, would likely need accommodation and would have a limited amount of time with the academy. So less club interaction and a loan that would cost someone more money.
  17. The transfer window is closed, so I don't think a league loan would be allowed. Add to the fact that he can still train with/play for our own academy sides whilst on loan, it seems like a perfect fit to me.
  18. How long will it be before someone on OTIB accuses Seb of blocking Yeboah's pathway....
  19. When did he positively 'impact' a game when he came on as a sub? I'd say that given his age, he has a much better chance of developing in to a player who can go on and have a good career away from the pressure of the Championship. He isn't likely to get a game with us at the moment, and the rest of this season on loan will hopefully help him progress so that come pre-season they can have a look at him and see if he is ready for the first team squad or would benefit from another loan.
  20. It is and it isn't. You have to remember that a lot of the posters on OTIB have a VERY SPECIAL understanding of football and can spot a bad player a mile off, and they refuse to believe that ALL players aren't the complete, finished article from the moment they step on to the pitch - regardless of age or experience. These same people wouldn't expect a player fresh to the country, squad, style of play to be ANYTHING other than 100% ready to understand the runs players might make, the positions they might adopt or anything else. Therefore, based on a couple of brief appearances if this lad isn't brilliant, he must therefore be dreadful - and there is no way back for him (despite the fact he has had some significant opportunities elsewhere at a much high level). If only we had a song for him. A song has kept a lot of people onside with Cornick when his contribution has been underwhelming at times.
  21. Not exactly a fall from grace, when he came on for us he was 'raw' (if I'm being kind); I'd say of that batch of kids that NP fielded either because he needed to, wanted to or had to he looked least ready for Championship football. Which is no surprise, given how early in to his football career he is, so going out for what will hopefully be a run of 90 minute games in a more physical league will likely do him a lot of good. In terms of performance when he came on for us, I'd say that we got better performances from OTC, who has also
  22. Police found those guilty easy to trace. #OldSkoolArt
  23. Could have been worse. They could have dropped a log.
  24. Fire safety might be a part of it, but given that it is still illegal to drink alcohol within sight of the pitch and their stand doesn't go fully across, I won't be surprised if they issue is far more simple.
