I must be the only person who thinks Urban Tandoor is just 'okay'. Must have been there half a dozen times and whilst there is nothing wrong with the food at all, I just can't understand the hype.

Maybe he likes the passing game.

Poll on the Lansdowns - Stay or Go?

Only really a worthwhile question if you have an alternative lined up who can cheat FFP. Decision wise, they have become increasingly questionable, but they are at the limit of investment. -
In a cashless stadium.

Gonna drop this here. doesn't look like it is worth a new thread and on the basis it is all about Premiership finance, seems the most appropriate thread for it. Just to note that I haven't watched the video yet, but the description sounded like something the number crunchers might be interested in.

The 'club' might have played Liverpool recently, but have the current squad of player or even the manager come up against them? Add to that the potential financial windfall it would generate, 3rd round winner prize money a probable television appearance and gate receipts, the bean-counters will be desperate for progression, add to that a January transfer window which if more revenue is nailed on might allow them to strengthen, then I would expect them to go full strength.

That tells a story of restricted view and small audience. I have no idea what they're thinking.

There was something - years back - about some sort of FIFA rule that meant that if a player was injured on International duty, that the 'FA' (or the local equivalent) were on the hook for paying/compensating their club for wages until they were fit again, but with top players earning hundreds of thousands a week, this presented a problem for a lot of the under-developed nations that just didn't have the resources to pay. And that's as far as my memory goes. No idea if/what/was a solution found.

Usually, 'shorts' are made by those with a near zero-budget who are trying to make a career in the industry. Often using actors who are either slow on work and will perform for zero/minimal pay, but occasionally by actors who want to give something back to the industry that has been kind to them. It's generally a testing ground. A good example here, with Ray Winstone.

Get the concern, but has this ever previously happened? -

Agree it's a bit odd, but then I have used my 'membership' of the rugby by way of being a City Season Ticket holder to get a discounted ticket for them. Not sure how else they could do it, other than recording the number of times a member has used their membership and for what to ensure they get a priority over other members. -
Stick a couple of li-los and a rubber ring on the Malago, get the Bingo back on North Street and it'll be the Ted Bovis fest in no time.

Oddly, the one bit of the French language @Harry knows references both of those animals.

You're milking it now.

You can sell your space to Craig. I think a TS5 is a Volvo estate.

Feel sorry for you mate, you'll be able to hear it.

Has anyone reached out to the rugby supporters? A few I know (season tickets, South stand) miss standing. Might add a bit more weight to any discussion if it included them as well.

This is where your SLO needs to be front and centre.

The club could easily get themselves a bit of time here by extending the ST window by 24 hours.
