  1. Joey in the Dock tomorrow. Kick off 10 am, Sheffield Crown Court. “Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury how do you find the defendant, Guilty or Not Guilty” ”Guilty as sin My’Lud”
  2. An interesting question. I would think Pearson will be looking at both of them as potential No 10s. We’ve seen lots of tenacity from both of them, but neither has yet had the chance to show us the full range of their skills going forward. On the evidence of the U23s AB looks more of a goal scorer than AS. I also think AB is a better tackler and could play deep midfield. It goes without saying that both have big futures in front of them. Let’s hope that’s with Bristol City and the two of them can be persuaded to stay for the long term.
  3. Mom the match all the players and the crowd combined. From a psychological point of view a huge 3 points. Amazing what you can achieve if the club, the players and the fans all pull in the same direction. COYR
  4. Was known as the il prete rosso ( the red priest) for his passion for all things Bristol City.
  5. AD himself is quoted himself as saying John Galley’s goals kept him in a job for 3 or 4 seasons giving him time to bring through Merrick, Gow, Tainton etc.
  6. I’d like you tell Big Nige to his face that our second half performance was cowardly. No, thought not.
  7. Anyway, they blew a two goal lead today, so back to a semblance of normality.
  8. The fact we finished the game on the front foot instead of hanging on, is a big plus for me. Not the ideal result, but much, much better.
  9. Wife Beating. To be held at Wimbledon Magistrates Court.
  10. These types of thread always remind me of the Charlton fans who agitated for the sacking of Alan Curbishley after three mid table Premier league finishes in a row, claiming he’d taken them as far as he could. Be careful what you wish for. It may come true.
  11. Blackburn Rovers at home in two weeks time.
  12. Agree totally about Wells substituíon. Did he actually touch the ball? COD is short of match fitness and should have been hooked after 60 minutes. We subbed two of our best players, Scott and Pring. Why? Finally Jay Dasilva needs a rocket up his derriere. If there’s one player who typifies the lack of guts and will to win, it’s him.
  13. I would rename it the Failand Training Ground, or FTG, which works on more than one level.
  14. Jailbird Joey due in court two time this month. I believe the 17th for the domestic abuse charge and the 26th for the assault on Stendal. Should be entertaining.
  15. FWIW I think the shin injuries are playing on Dasilva’s mind and consequently he’s not playing to his full ability.
  16. Back 3. Midfield looks v weak. Can see us getting overrun.

    Benarous

Well said Dave. Once again OTIB rushes to the court of instant judgement. Ridiculous. Let’s see what the lad looks like after he’s had a run of games.
  18. A complete lack of both composure on the ball and quality of pass.

    U23s v QPR

Bell, Pearson and Benarous being kept back for Saturday bench warming?
  20. Tomorrow, Tuesday, at the FTG at 1pm. Presumably it will be on Robins TV.
  21. The fact that Grimsby have a player called Pollock made me smile.
