  1. for absolutely no good reason I read this and the shadow of Tony Pulis appeared and injected a deep sense of chill through my veins
  2. Nige has never been critical of his own failings to the best of my knowledge. He has copped Covid at least twice though, could be suffering from long Covid and is struggling with that. He (in my opinion) will walk when City are mathematically safe for the sake of his own health and his own ego. The big question (as ever) is who replaces him.
  3. doesnt it just. If anyone thought City were skint, take a butchers at their finances. I cant help but conclude that part time players will be the "norm" there at some point
  4. Always a City fan first and foremost. I have an "allegiance" with a couple of other clubs purely based on how I've been treated as an individual at those clubs. For this reason Dunfermline is my favourite club in Scotland.
  5. from my very amateurish knowledge, imagine the lens split into 3. The subject should be in the middle third (at least I think that's how it is).
  6. aw fair then. Both clubs have enough idiot fans
  7. How can they get away with only giving Celtic an allocation of 700 tickets?
  8. The effin' Gas? How painful is that? Never mind. Where there is blame there's a claim
  9. Spent Saturday afternoon in Bathwick Tyres....4 new uns required.
  10. Huboo also sponsoring Bath Rugby next season. Surely they wont be sponsoring them in Horfield as well
  11. Fastest player I've seen at The Gate was in a Wolves Shirt. Steve Kindon was seriously swift in the 70s (as was Tommy Hutchison)
  12. Poor choice. Try Scotch Eggs and Tizer (you'll only do it once)
  13. reckon we were at the same game. I went to school the following morning with stitches above my eye thanks to a half brick smashed into my forehead
  14. its a good question and one that was raised on Bath Rugby Facebook group. My gut reaction is to do it, but in Baths case they have a Russian player which may well put him in a difficult position (in Russia and Bath). City dont have that problem, so yes
  15. shame. A night in Newcastle is fantastic
  16. cheers. I havent been to Goodison since I was in Liverpool to party (I didnt do much study) in the early 80's
  17. would Everton be playing at Goodison or Bramley Moor Dock next season?
  18. Yes. Putin loves sport, so he shouldnt get any benefit from seeing his National play anywhere. We should definitely follow Polands lead and refuse to play the game. FIFA havent got a spine, but the likes of Poland and I'd hope England could help them develop one
  19. I was in the Open End that day....and the howitzer arrived!! I think I took off and my head bounced off of the sky. What a phenomenal shot
  20. Saw this Youtube clip earlier.... the future for Bristol City?
  21. this! I hope to goes to Southampton (who may well lose James Ward Prowse in the summer). Saints have a habit of building players value and selling on (they're just further up the food chain than City) and a good sell on percentage could be very handy
  22. To be fair to FGR, they are so far in front they are virtually out of sight in League 2
  23. may/may not have been the same time, but I was on a coach to Leyton Orient late 80's/early 90's and that coach got lost and eventually turned up at Half Time. Beryl's face was a picture when she saw what had happened. To be fair to the O's, their programme sellers negotiated with the Police on our behalf and then we went in for half a game for half price
