the manager of possibly the most entertaining and winning City team I've seen in my lifetime. An absolute Legend. Without wishing to water down that comment, yes Osman's football was the polar opposite, but David Russe gave him about 20p to spend...and still wanted change

have we ever really done much in the January window? I keep hearing its a notoriously difficult time to do business
-
Oh this made me smile. I think we should all go to Derby with a "Popodopolous" Flag in an "I'm Spartacus" fashion. That should keep the natives restless

This club has no business in the Championship
Sweeneys Penalties replied to dREDful's topic in Football Chat
In answer to the thread title "This club has no business in the Championship" I disagree. City were promoted here on merit with Cotts at the helm. City were rightfully a Championship Club.....not a particularly good one at present, but nonetheless, by hook or by crook, still a Championship Club, and one that is likely to be so at the start on next season. I read Nige's comments about not wanting luxury players, so we can all make solid guesses at who he would like to ship out. Any imports he makes are likely to be grafters (and that is what he wants). The January transfer window will tell many tales....and Nige's future in BS3 may well depend on it -

Have good memories of Bramall Lane, having lived and worked there for a while. I had a flat near the Blades Ground and certainly wasn't averse to ambling down the hill on matchday to sit in The Kop End. Enjoyed the City and a decent set of fans to boot. -

Fair enough. The benefits of watching the game with concentration all over the place whilst having Covid. My bottle of choice tonight is a bottle of Kombucha
