I don't care that Rovers aren't there, but I think Pompey v Sunderland is the worst thing for football. Many City fans have had a great time watching this competition and I suspect/hope that most of them remember that rather than think '**** it, not our problem anymore'

how the **** are the two biggest clubs in division one getting to the final the worst thing for football? guaranteed sellout I would have thought ……...plus the met police horses can sleep easy in there beds.....

I think you have to aknowledge their point though.

IF they had a new ground, training facilities and were doing well in the Championship.

It’s a bit like IF a flying saucer full of aliens abducted me, whilst I was riding around on the Moon, on my half pig ?, half gorilla ?, that’s fluent in Japanese, Italian, German and English, of course..! At the same time as Rachel Riley was atomised out of the TV and sent through the air in a billion little pieces (Charlie & the chocolate factory style) and also ended up being transported to that very same spot on the Moon, then there would be a chance that her and I would live together in harmony, fall in love and she’d be my sex slave for all eternity, whilst neither of us ever aged.

You make it sound like these things aren’t ever likely to happen..!

You got more chance of Mavis Riley.....

One of my mates is a Sunderland fan (from up there, now living and working down here) and for a treat, he took his family (wife and both sets of parents) to the Mem to see the game. They honestly believed they were going to a football stadium.

    I don't think he'll ever live the embarrassment down.....and I mean, EVER !

or the mackem whos taxi took him to ashton gate.....

Some vertically challenged Sags to the right of that picture, potentially a handful when considering "angry little man syndrome".

Wonder if they had a few pints in that boozer, or went straight on the shorts...

"in force". phrase. When Rovers fans do something in force, they do it in large numbers. New members of the GHS turned out in force for their first taste of looking like *****.

is that the vicar holding another tea party...……..
