Bit surprised we've not gone 352 with round pegs in round holes and instead going with a cm at rb.
Nervous of Hoilett up against mags as he didn't look great against palace as a lb and Hoiletts a v dangerous player at this level.
Lets see what this squads made of!

Great from COD, he's really improving!

Pack given the ball away twice in a matter of minutes with sloppy passes... useless lump
Pack does seem to be in particularly bad form since the international break. Very sloppy by his standards

Baker coming off. Big shame

While I'm disappointed we could break them down and have no idea what was wrong with Bobbys goal, I would be quite happy to see Burton relegated after that anti football performance. They just didn't want to play at all.
Maybe we should take it as a compliment.
Didn't we get a goal disallowed for nothing in the same game last season?
-
Poor ref but 11 shots on goal all night against a team that didn't even try and attack is poor.

Most other threads on there describe us as mediocre and lucky. Yet another set of sore losers.
Plenty of them on there saying we were much the better side.

Don’t know what game you’re watching. Get Leko on
would like to see Leko but I bet they haven't enjoyed playing COD.

Uh, no he didn’t, was way over.
Don't reckon Ipswich fans would agree, been a constant thorn in their side.
EDIT That was in reference to your comment on him not being good enough, of course.

Anyone found a hd stream?

Thank god for O'Dowda, actually trying to make something happen.
Pack having a shocker.

Both their points so far have come from away games. Maybe they feel more comfortable to shut up shop when away from home.
Doesn't really suit us as I don't see us as a picking passes through the defence type team. We need energy in the game otherwise we get a bit stifled when its all a bit static (see Millwall)
Think tonight could be a test of patience. Hopefully I'm proved wrong!

Woodrow doing alright?
Yeah, took a while to get into it but some great link up and hold up play as the game has gone on.

Apart from going to sleep for their goal, we have pretty much matched Wolves. Leko looks a real livewire and is causing them all sorts of problems, need to take off Diedhiou and bring on Taylor up front for second half - but doubt LJ will change anything. Diedhiou is just so slow to react, he really is offering very little for us - carbon copy of his disappointing performance against Reading.
Aside from Fammy, everybody playing their part, even COD!
C'ODs having a great game. He's brilliant at drawing fouls in the right places.
-
Leko is ridiculously skilful, they're having to put 2 or 3 on him to get the ball back.
Looking forward to seeing him on Saturday.
-
Not a vintage attacking display by any means but proud of that performance. Everyone out their putting their bodies on the line and battling as hard as they could, nothing like the pushovers we saw many times last year.
Classic championship smash and grab away performance!

We've looked toothless going forward but we've improved our defensive shape and resilience so much from last season. Don't have that look like we could concede any minute anymore.

Interesting - little bit concerned with Vyner starting at such a tough away game. Hope he proves me wrong. Good to see Brownhill centrally. Surprised to see O'Dowda, I imagine Leko will get some minutes at some point.
I assume Pisano is injured as he's not on the bench. Big loss for us, hopefully Zak can step up to the plate!

If only we had a classy midfielder who could win a game on his own with a bit of magic
Yeah, once in every 4 games. Whilst costing us goals by not pulling his weight (no pun intended), being a lazy bugger and not doing any defensive work.

What's exciting me about Bobby is he's getting those tap in Tammy type goals. Very useful skill!

Korey HAS played rb before and put in some solid performances , but to say he's accomplished there is a bit of a stretch.
He won't have been training in that position so I imagine won't feel completely natural. Not to mention the fact that he's our best CM at the mo, so will be a missing there.
Hopefully it all works out but I was happier when I thought that line up was starting as a 352.
