I’m a Rovers fan and I found it embarrassing. Regardless of that though the tweet had an intention and it has done what it was intended to do.
You're quite right, shown everyone what your club is.

It’s a stupid tweet, but it’s done what it was supposed to do and that was to get a reaction.
Ah the good old 'get they Ted's biting' Bullshit?
That tweet is nothing short of embarrassing, but with a Sag mentality they think it's brilliant.
Strange fanbase.

Or because Ian Paisley or Sammy Wilson are reffing their SPL games?
Theyve had some awful decisions go against them recently didnt see them then?
3 Zip now and no it wasn't a penalty

Penalty by any chance?
Rangers seem to get about 20 a season, even more than Liverpool.
Probably because they spend more time in the opponents box than any other team?
Just an observation

They have - there's a football special for the return journey at 17.55
There's a reason why they've called that particular train a 'special'

There's the customary red card for their opponents will be a penalty next....

FTG. Premier League quality now
Chap I sat next to yesterday came from Manchester, he normally watches City and United but drove the Rochdale Chairman down to the Mem. He asked me who the Rovers manager is, I reluctantly told him it was Barton , he was shocked and surprised, couldn't understand why we had appointed him as manager , of course JB had issues and violent episodes while at City he wasn't at all impressed with having Barton as our manager. With Wael following Chelsea and I presume having connections in the game I am surprised he chose JB to manage us with him having such a poor reputation. The chap said the last lower league game he watched was between Posh and Carlisle , he took Alex Ferguson to the match , I said well at least you got entertaining match today his reply was "yes this is as good as the premier League",so at least Barton has got something right. It is odd though since Barton said there are no good teams at this level , well Barton there is one yours!.

Hadn't realised but Wael is paying for all the away coaches to go to their away game at Scunthorpe this Saturday, currently sold out 7 coaches
As much as we give them stick this is a very nice gesture especially at this time of the year
Such a lovely bloke.

A season or so ago, he was on loan at Doncaster and either scored or assisted with a goal against Rovers and was abused for his apparently exaggerated celebration.
Correct.
IIRC just as he crossed it in all you could hear on the highlights was the sags shouting 'shithead, shithead', then pure silence

That's Herbie Kane, another 'gert ted'.
He hates the Sags just as much as us.
