From Forum this is superb! Tour of the stadium?!

A monthly direct debit similar to the 50/50 run like the postcode lottery would be a good idea. Also I love the open day but as a one off as raising funds why not charge £1 entrance fee? Other clubs have paid tours of their stadium I know ours isn't great but it could be a way of raising money especially if there were players available to speak to and have photos with. Limit the number per tour so that the fans feel they get a personal experience

Home to Sunderland tomorrow, if the place isn't waterlogged.  Can't see them getting any points from that one, just a further continuation of Ben Garner's abysmal record.  I wonder how many of them will go to watch this shite on a wet and windy night.  A long way for the Sunderland fans to travel midweek too.

I seem to recall them saying how they couldn’t wait for the big clubs to visit the swamp so their attendances would swell, fully expect it to be in the 6k’s still.

Latest on their season ticket renewal poll. Their 6k gates may drop a lot lower next year by look of it.  Certainly too low to qualify as a public gathering ?

    Are you renewing/buying?

    Non-holder: Will buy 3 votes
    Holder: Have renewed 0 votes
    Holder: Will renew 52 votes
    Holder: Won't renew 44 votes
    Daddy 2 votes
    Chips 14 votes

Loyal and True though they always claim ?

Full of shit the lot of them always have been.

Would be hilarious if he takes them down, then we organise an open topped bus parade through Kingswood and swamp the high street with red and white.

Not too sure I’d attend that tbh, next time your in the area drive along the High St and take a look at the state of the creatures it contains. Scary shit.

My reliable inside source tells me that the great JCH is a bad apple.

Don’t doubt this for 1min just from the few bits I have seen of him even before his S*g days he comes across as billy big bollox who just stands around watching whilst the rest of his teammates warm up. Gangsta wannabe.

Their entire fan base have been ****** by wally

A few on here called it the moment Wally took over by saying something was abit dodgy about it all and wasn’t all it was made out to be etc, a quick google search at the time proved the Al Qadi’s were nowhere near billionaire status, yet we were all jealous Ted’s cos they were the 6th richest club in the land and they were coming for us.

    We’re still waiting you morons......

Yet Unbelievably a large amount of them are still happy with them at the helm ? all I can say to that is you deserve the shitty little club you’ve got.

That is truly shocking form. What is more shocking perhaps is that two clubs are worse than that. How can any manager get so much so wrong so consistently? Mind boggling really. You would think it would be easier to actually win a few just by the law of averages.

What is more amusing is that they just got dicked by one of those clubs who’s squad was full of their academy players.

Heard a really strange tale from a reliable source yesterday about Wally.  Allegedly he was caught with his trousers down with someone other than his wife, earlier this year. The family took a very dim view of this apparently and a huge falling out followed. Just passing on yet another little snippet.

The question is, was it a one or two humped camel he was caught with?

Even if Wally pulls the plug I don't think they'll go to the wall.

He'll be the defacto owner of the stadium (secured against the loans) and the club is a worthless entity (would imagine most clubs are as they lose money), but subject to an administrator negotiating a penny-in-the-pound type settlement, you'll either find someone prepared to invest if they are largely debt free and either renting the Mem (or more likely moving to Bath in the short term) or, dare I say it, the supporters buying the club.

The latter being unlikely as they seem the most unorganised fan base in the league which is why they keep getting shat on and just accept it.

This won’t happen, Twerton Park isn’t upto EFL standards plus they want to install a 4G pitch. So looks like they’ll have to beg someone else to let them rent their ground instead.

I'm going to suggest that our record in the time period you mention, which includes relegation out of the league, being knocked out of the cup by countless non league sides and never having played you in a league fixture, suggests that there is no perceivable bias toward our club by match officials.

If there is such a bias, then we are in even bigger trouble than I thought.

If some saviour doesn’t appear very soon then the end is nigh......

Wally and co haven’t got a clue where to turn with nobody willing to buy them out.

Those knuckle dragging idiots need to take not of what’s happening with masters,

it is an attempt from wael and Staines to silence the truth from coming out but those thick idiots are too stupid to realise what’s happening,

when the ground has gone from under them and they are playing Paulton only then will the realise that wael doesn’t have the clubs best interests at heart

Yet they’ll still be telling everyone that it’s the best thing to ever happen to them just like they did the last time they were relegated out of the FL

I was there, thank god Mansfield didn’t do anything , we had enough issues to deal with . Not a great day

Was all City in the away end that day or so the Blue Few believe all because when Mansfield scored their supporters actually celebrated the goal!! I can only assume it was gaslogic at its finest as every other clubs supporters love the Sags and wouldn’t dream of celebrating the goal that sent them down, only them Ted’s would do such a thing.

  12. 11 hours ago, Mattyisared said:

    Disagree.

As much as we know about the Sags' pathetic attempt to call themselves a football club, it's undeniable that Garner has good links, if he didn't he wouldn't have been able to get Daly or Blackman, personally I think a lot of Championship clubs would have been perfectly happy with those signings, and me personally I would've been happy with Blackman as a signing ahead of Niki last season.

The Sags as well do seem to have created a reputation as a good footballing support, a farce of course, but I would argue that teams around the country other than Bristol aren't aware on just how big the gap is in that sense. I use twitter a lot and I regularly see people ranking football fanbases or the size of different clubs and put us at the same level of the Sags. Complete lies of course, but would James Daly of Crystal Palace really realise that the Sags are close to financial crisis and have a shit fanbase when they big themselves up so much, I would argue no. Plus Garner having experience at Palace and having an unfortunately accurate resume in terms of helping to develop young players, I think the Sags are much more attractive in that respect than a lot of us realise, as we know them as the shambles that they are.

Is this the same Niki that was up there with being one of our players of the season? If Championship clubs were to of come in for those young un’s you’ve mentioned do you really think that they’d of turned them down in favour of going to a club who have to scrape the dog shit off their pitch before they can train? Highly doubtful. Also If Garner was as good as you and others think he is then he wouldn’t be at a shite little club like them and unable to even win a game since he’s been there.

To be fair Mr Lathan is a proper journo however and the article is pretty decent reflection of the days events.

Not doubting that it never happened but just because we are playing reading why on earth do they feel the need to bring a story from 36 years ago is beyond me.

Not sticking up for Rovers fans but they always bang on that the BP is biased towards City, and we say the same, maybe the BP is not biased at all?

Pretty sure someone who posts on here had a friend who worked for the BP, who wasn’t from the local area and had no preference to us or the sags, and was told by a senior member of staff to belittle BCFC at even opportunity possible, and to favour the Fewers. The lack of journalism from the BP in trying to find out wtf Wally is actually up to tells you all you need to know.

Last 5 league games they've taken 2 points out of a possible 15

Prior to that (and Garner's appointment) they took 13 out of 15.

    That makes me smile.

    200/1 to go down....

They really are a crock of shit who are punching well above their weight.

The loyal and true have turned on poor old Alf big time. I thought they never did that and it was only us that slagged off our own.

I`m right behind him myself, extend his contract I say.

Whoever was on Radio Bristol interviewing someone from the Fewers after their game obviously believes the Myth on how loyal and true those morons are by stating to them ‘R*vers fans are well known for not booing at their games, unless they are really not happy with something’

    ???

They tossers boo every week whether it’s aimed at Wally, one of their players, a S’Head playing against them, or just at how shit their club is.
