Not to mention the fact you'd have clubs like Luton, Altrincham, Dundee United, Cove Rangers, maybe Coventry, and others for whom winning their league is a near formality losing huge amounts of income. It's completely unfair and would probably lead to legal action if it was voided.

I'm currently self isolating on the advice of my GP. There's 2 other people in buildings within 200yds of me also under isolation so I'm shit scared.

The amount of incredibly shit takes on twitter over this whole situation is astonishing. A good amount of people almost condoning whats going on and laughing at the demise of the two clubs.

Not having a go at you mate but broadly, the fact that football clubs are viewed as businesses exclusively and not institutions that give back to their local communities is really sad. Be nice if there was a small tax levied on player sales/purchases in the Premier League to go in to a rescue fund to help bail out clubs that are in financial difficulties, once a new owner who passes REAL fit and proper testing is installed, or to help fan-ownership schemes get started.
