  1. I know fans are expecting more money but can we really demand it. We are about to lose Massengo for free in the summer. We need to make sure we aren't making that same mistake.
  2. Wasn't it 8 million plus 2 million addons? This sounds like 10 plus addons (if true) so slightly different.
  3. No offense taken and I agree. The main factors for him joining Crystal Palace would be.. Premier League football (most players ambition) Wages (set for life), Opportunities at the club, Manager but I'm sure location also plays a fairly big part.
  4. We have a one year option to extend. If we have plans for Max longer term I'll assume we've offered a new contract rather than taking the option at this time.
  5. Think I read before Semenyo is from south London so Crystal Palace would be a great move for him especially as they've dipped into the Championship before and played those players.
  6. Now would be Weimann and Conway, before it would of been Bobby Reid from recent memory.
  7. I agree, helping to put up your abundance of tents for match days wouldn't of been in his job description.
  8. We do have one. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/vyner-signs-new-deal/
  9. So win, lose or draw in football. You think fans have no affect on results at all?
  10. I think the fans are equally responsible for our problems on the field. Of course I'm not excusing Nigel or the players as they are just as responsible but you can sense the angst within the crowd at most home games now. I do understand this is due our poor performances at home but I think it has a massive impact on the confidence of the players. We need to be more proactive with supporting the players through this tough period rather than get on their backs. We need to accept where we are this season, secure our place in this league for next season and build on it whether that's with Nigel or not going forward.
  11. Not just saying this because it hasn't worked out with Carlisle but from what I've seen I haven't been that impressed with his ability. Was he tearing up trees in the academy?
  12. What a revelation this lad has been for us. Chases everything, shows commitment and has a great knack of putting the ball away.
  13. Can't disagree more. He packed the midfield and defense in separate blocks of subs to break up the game and slow it down. Yes he didn't use a RB but I'm guessing he expected Luton to see more of the ball and wanted Vyner on the field for height and defensive capability. We were always going to be up against it due to playing with 10. More chances, corners ect. We defended those important corners with the addition of Klose, Martin and the remaining players. I sometimes don't agree but Nigels subs but today he got it spot on. The players showed great character aswell.
  14. Does it all matter. He'll be leaving next summer and Nigel doesn't seem to want to start players who have their future elsewhere unless he has to. I like the fact he's stubborn with this as he's trying to build a core team who are built into the project. That's why he's not a fan of loans (not to say we won't) but again only out of necessity.
  15. My main issue with Vyner asides from the lack of concentration and wayward passes. He can't head the ball. I know he's not the tallest of centre backs but he just doesn't leap and gets outmuscled often. It's a shame as he clearly has some ability and the attitude is right but I think he's got the wrong skill set for a defender but not enough in that skill set for a championship midfielder. Yet I'm happy to be proved wrong but its a massive weakness until Kalas is back.
  16. Really like his attitude, seems very humbled he's got to where he is today and proud to play for us. Hope he smashes it!
  17. I understand its only a friendly but I think Plymouth were the better team overall yesterday. I thought we were poor and just glad it was only a friendly. Without trying to make them scapegoats I thought Vyner and King gave the ball away too much with wayward passes. It really didn't help with building attacks. They always try the blockbuster passes but they never come off.
  18. Watched bits of the game and Morton did okay. Hope he gets a contract. I was quite impressed by Cal Roberts from Notts County he looks decent. Good ability on the ball.
  19. Should be fine but still subject to visa clearance.. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/bajic-is-a-robin/
  20. Obviously I've got no idea like the rest of us but I reckon when we gave Will Buse another year this deal was dead. I could be wrong but just my feeling.
  21. Definitely no surprise yet wish him all the best.
  22. I know what you said. Everywhere I can see they didn't play a back four at any point but rotated as you said three different formations all with 3 centre backs
  23. FGR played with three centre backs and wing backs.
