  1. Yeah I'll be honest I'm confused on what his main position actually is so difficult to include him. Guess we will work that out when we see him play.
  2. If the season started today with no more incoming's who would you start. I would go with a 3 5 2: Bentley Klose Naismith Atkinson Wilson Williams Pring Scott James Weimann Martin
  3. Does seem weird. You'd think that was something that would be sorted prior to the rest of the transfer process starting.
  4. Wiles-Richards https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/gallery-first-day-of-pre-season/
  5. Agreed I think fans forget this as he was introduced to the first team very early on. He gets less patience than others in his age bracket because of his exposure to the team which is wrong. Semenyo is case and point to not writing players off this early in their careers.
  6. I heard that too but that would be very risky as I'm sure we wouldn't get compensation if a foreign team offered him a contract when it runs down. Think the only way we would get compensation is if a English club offered a contract due to his age.
  7. I don't feel the same. Admittedly alot of the topics NTTDS does post I don't have any interest in but it may do for someone else. I just don't engage with those topics, don't think we need to cap this. Infact I'm happy we've got such a lively forum and wouldn't want to restrict that.
  8. I can see alot of posts with a selected back four for next season. Just curious to why considering we've signed Naismith who's predominantly played in his newly acquired position of CB in a back 5 with Luton and hopefully the incoming of Wilson who is also a wing back. How do you think we will set up next season?
  9. Weird he says he's an Argyle fan in his bio yet posts everything city related. I think its bullshit to be honest but would be over the moon to be wrong..
  10. Has this been speculated on by any media platforms or just that twitter page so far?
  11. I reckon we'll continue with 3 centre backs especially at the beginning of the season. Although he's not going to pick his own position in the team Naismith in his interview said he's versatile but predominantly coming in as a CB. Just my hunch.
  12. Luton were surprised he'd signed for us: https://www.lutontown.co.uk/news/2022/may/kal-naismith-bristol/ I'm glad were more ruthless and aggressive with transfers. Every club is looking for an edge so why not.
  13. Some fans seems to have an obsession with both. I actually wish LJ all best, think he really wanted to succeed with us. Not so much MA but that's put to bed now.
  14. Of course its the best thing to do but he'll only have a year left if he doesn't sign. He's got prem clubs circling who will atleast triple his wages and he'll get to play in the top league that's very hard to compete with. If he has only one year remaining next year we are held to ransom by clubs knowing they'll get him via tribunal at the end of his contract on the cheap.
  15. He also said his representatives have turned down two offers already. He'll be a massive loss but I think we should sell this transfer window to retain value in the player. Massengo will go this summer but for cheaper than we should get because of the lack of time left on his contract. We don't want to be in that situation or even worse a Diedhiou outcome in two years.
  16. Not really set alight this game. I know the recent success with long balls but they are just being pumped into the stands or straight to their keeper. Needs abit more calmness but Sheffield don't look great either. Can see the effort though from both teams.
  17. True but I would also add that not only his effort is likeable but he's impacted games in a much more positive way than Zak. I remember him driving forward and starting off attacks which was benefitting us. I'm sorry to say Vyner just isn't Championship standard just like we've established with Moore. I think its a simple case that Nigel prefers Idehen currently which takes up that bench spot.
  18. Can you leave the Gas chat to the dustbin? Brilliant performance from the lads. Best of the season by far. Delighted for the whole team not just the boys up top. Yet they were class. Hope they carry that into next season!
  19. Now this I agree with. Obviously in hindsight its easy to say but he's done great for Shrewsbury. I always thought he looked good when he played for us. Relatively young still. Hunt and Rowe were best to be moved on when they were. We are still having a reset of the team and it had to start with them.
  20. I think we did the right thing by releasing him. We then made the mistake of signing Simpson. Just a position that needs to be addressed this summer with competition with Tanner.
  21. I'm not just being negative but think he has a point. We've been fortunate Weimann and to a lesser degree Martin and Semenyo have produced important goals to keep us afloat. In terms of how we've played throughout the season we've been second best against a large majority of teams.
  22. It's rubbish simple as. No disrespect to the OP but its not even a conceivable idea.
