no venom in it at all. I don't think he's good enough to score us the goals to keep us up in the championship, his first touch is awful and he should have scored far more than he has. He's a city supporter so I've supported him every time he's pulled on the shirt. It's my opinion that he's not the answer.

I think you're right................. in your previous post where you say that Jet's intelligence wil provide chances for Agard.

But we're assuming, as City fans always do, that Jet will step back in and produce top form immerdiately.

Some/most players are given licence of a few games to get back to speed after long absences.

That doesn't apply to Jet, if he's a bit rusty and doesn't have an absolute stormer his knockers will be out in force.

I hope he does. No offence Wilbs., and get better soon, but Jet's inclusion has given me renewed interest in this game.

agreed, he is expected to preform miracles with every touch whilst Agard gets king status for sitting deeper, giving the appearance of running around, defending from attack. I'd prefer to see Jet with his hands on his hips standing higher up the field, as a defender I'd be bricking myself, wondering wjet he's going to make them look stupid as he so often does.

I hope today's not the last we see of jet in a City shirt, we know he's changed mentally abd he's settled here. He's an entertainer, an artist and has provided us with some great moments, I think he has a part to play next season hopefully teaming up with Matt Smith. Let's wait abd see, one thing is for sure IMHO is that Agard has struggled to make an impact at times in this league, at a level above ivrrally don't think we can afford to carry a player in such an important position. I really fear for us if he's our first choice striker next season.

City beat a decent team on Sunday without really breaking sweat and I think it will be much the same today. We are just a very, very good side and all of us need to enjoy these last 8 games as next season may be a tad harder. Barnsley may well sneak into the play-offs but we are different class and they will be put in their place and City will win comfortably 4-0. Flint to score at anytime @ 9/2 with Betfred is a monster bet. The guy is a man mountain and in the form of his life. Happy days !

I admire your optimism and enthusiasm, however Barnsley were very dangerous going forward at their place & Danny Wilson tactically found us out, constantly breaking with pace and exploiting the huge spaces left on the flanks. I'd expect them to do the same today.

At Wembley we barely got out of 2nd gear and rarely looked threatened.

The one negative is that up top I think we are completely toothless (of course, things can change and Agard & Alby could click, again.)

Agard & Alby don't look anywhere near as effective as they did earlier this season,. Wilbraham still doesn't look fit and when I spoke to his brother on Sunday he said he's still not fully fit, which IMHO showed up quite obviously, then there's Agard. I thought he tried so hard on Sunday, his work rate was phenomenal but he just IMHO as not the answer short or long term/ is okay JET and recall Burns as another option, we are brilliant as a team and every player adds something.today will be a touch one, I just pray that Agard will find his scoring boots ala Rotherham and we will canter over the finishing line.
