  1. It can only be used to aid the premier league team for example the handball incident.
  2. For a city the size of Bristol that is a disgrace and for an owner so rich that has been in charge for so long, it is nothing sure of a huge failure, with mistake after mistake being made to the point of hilarity and embarrassment not just for us as fans but for Steve as a businessman. If anything is an indicator that you arent cut out for the role its a statistic like that.
  3. Which is good seeing as he will be first choice next season after Pring is sold to Bournemouth.
  4. To build a squad around the likes of Semenyo, Kelly, Scott, Webster, Pring, Conway and get promoted to the Premier League, or buy our way there I dont care anymore I just want success. I get the feeling Im not alone when I say I dont think we will ever get there with the current ownershit.
  5. Also if you look at the bigger picture of team performance equals result, take for example, the Cov game where conceding one less goal (Max cock up) would have resulted in us gaining 2 more points, its not simply about scoring 1 goal more, results are governed by more than scoring goals. The OP is talking nonsense.
  6. It was amazing wasnt it, still remember his movement, he got into so many goal scoring positions he should have scored more through his career but for City he was class. COLE NOT GAS.
  7. I was absolutely livid with a draw on tuesday, we were good enough for the 3 points and if it wasnt for a howler by Max we would have taken all 3. Tonight highlighted how we massively lack any strength in depth, without that Im not sure how we can seriously implement any kind of plan B. The season has been written off already (AGAIN), we need to start next season in an even position and that means having a SQUAD capable of playing championship football every week, we are far too inconsistent, which is no surprise when you have too many inconsistent players in your starting 11.
  8. Regardless of manager a plan B is impossible if you have NO strength in depth with your squad.
  9. AGAIN & for how may seasons more, its ******* boring.
  10. Having a good game thus far, too inconsistent for my liking however. No shame in holding a very good Leeds team to a draw at HT, id take a point at full time.
  11. The penny has dropped, perhaps he sees this the best attacking option whilst twine is not available, also theyre both fully fit and maybe he doesnt think we will get much joy down the flanks and our best chance is overloading the attacking central areas.
  12. I dont know if its possible but can you not fly to Leeds? Its only an hours drive to Boro from the airport, a cheap people carrier uber with a few of you wont cost much.
  13. Ive been saying this since Blackburn away last season, they were absolutely unplayable and tore Blackburn to pieces, you have to find a way to accommodate them, its really not that difficult.
  14. This is why we NEED a decent CONSISTENT goalkeeper. I'm sick of these pathetic mistakes.
  15. He (Bell) seems to make the wrong decision, he lacks a final ball and takes a touch too many. We are lacking someone who could whip a ball in like his DAD.
  16. We have a very good strike partnership in Conway & Wells, its unfortunate that we dont play a formation or style that can accommodate their playing together, even if it was just for half an hour against a lesser opponent id like to see them given a go again, we know they are a good pairing, its very frustrating to not see it happen but I understand why.
  17. Yeah true, Id like to see someone else brought in of a similar threat, unlikely though.
  18. Why, we never get the ball into dangerous areas quick enough to score, we arent creating chances, if we were then wed score goals, both Tommy & Nahki are good enough, Van Basten wouldnt score in our team.
  19. Lacking quality with the final ball, I'd like to see one of our players put an early, first time ball into the box, Conway was constantly making intelligent runs without once getting the early cross, so frustrating.
  20. I think forest have just flexed their premiership muscle with those changes, it also highlights how thin on quality we are when looking at our bench, hopefully we can add a couple of signings before the window closes!
  21. I think tuesdays performance made a lot of people nostalgic of years gone by, a city team more than holding their own physically, snapping into tackles that got supporters out of their seats, cheering the team on, creating a mood more attributed to Ashton Gate in the 90's. I mistakenly thought that this tactic was here to stay and this was Manning in part putting his stamp on things and showing us that the dark arts are part of his tactical repertoire and he is shaping a city side that can play football at the same time as being a nightmare to play against?
