  1. I agree we need a major rethink on defending set pieces BUT whoever lost his man for that second goal has no place playing in the Championship and needs hauling off tbh. That's not even Toolstation League defending, literally ******* Bristol Suburban League Div 5.
  2. As long as Massengo is kept out of the pub he’ll be fine. I assume he was on the piss before the game on Saturday anyway……
  3. Unhinged, whoever he wanted dead for beating his team in a football match!!
  4. Don’t you just wish the FA would tell them to **** off and I mean use the actual words not some 54 paragraph statement.
  5. They won't need a "run" of results. 3 more wins from either Burnley or Watford will be too much for Everton. They have a horrendous run-in.
  6. Like today for a start.....
  7. All these ridiculous Premier League decisions merely prove that it doesn't matter how foolproof your system, if you allow idiots to operate it then the system fails. VAR should just be scrapped.
  8. The guy who might have been sent off first half then gets the winner. Eddie Howe’s presser will be interesting….
  9. When you introduce technology to make the game perfect then get obvious decisions wrong to the benefit of a Big 6 side the integrity of the game is then in question, that’s the problem.
  10. Agreed. If they can’t get decisions right with VAR just let refs get on with it like it’s been for the last 140 years before it came in.
  11. No, that was a shocker. How Silva didn’t lay the ref out I’ll never know!!
  12. It is but even allowing for it being a nonsense they have to get that right.
  13. VAR officials must be on the take, that’s all I can say.
  14. Agree Pring could have been smarter but a foul is a foul. The laws don’t say “if the player is being a bit of a cock and gets fouled the offence is null and void”!!
  15. If he puts in steady performances between now and the end of the season it's a no brainer to retain Cundy as a squad player with Moore and Vyner politely told to find a club at a level they can consistently play at.................which is League 1. Harsh but true. Cundy is in a different place to both of those two......similar age but limited league experience and DESPERATE to prove himself rather than being on the "just a job" conveyor belt................which you wouldn't mind with Vyner and Moore if they were better, could concentrate for 96 minutes and didn't make a massive number of individual errors between them.
  16. It should have been us but it was a leftover from their game v Millwall in the week.
  17. And we really should have had a penalty for 2-0 when Scott was kicked fourteen yards up in the air against QPR............but we didn't and we lost 2-1. Pring was cleaned out at Preston in injury time when we were leading 2-1 and they broke up the field and scored - did anyone take that into account when they were lambasting Nige that evening? Were we lucky on that incident yesterday? Too right. Given a number of decisions we have suffered this season do many give a ****? No.
  18. The danger with Massengo is he could go to a Premier League club and hardly be seen for the first one to two years. He would have to show a lot more than he has done over the last few weeks to even get a place on the bench that's for sure. All comes down to money and the patience/foresight of the player and his agent I suppose. I see it similarly with Semenyo too. He's been brilliant for us but he is still far too raw to play with any sort of regularity in the Premier League. The only one of our three players we could cash in on who I would expect to be seeing actually playing in the Premier League this time next year, if we sold him, is Scott. The kid is very talented, has the football brain in-built and is a very fast learner to go with it.
  19. I love the Biffa skip, an absolute classic, clean lines, sturdy construction, 4 yards of pure artwork in my opinion............and don't get me started on their 8 yard skip. So much better than the cheap, mass produced rubbish you get from Bateman these days.
  20. After seeing some of the bollocks decisions given against us this season I can't say I'll be getting very triggered over getting a bit of luck yesterday.........the standard of refereeing in the Premier League isn't great but below the Prem it's absolutely abysmal, as bad as it's ever been. So bad that I remember thinking we would be better off if we got Keith ******* Stroud allocated to us a bit more often. Andy Davies actually reffed like a bloke who had been on a bender for twenty four hours solid before the game. From what I can see most ref's at our level literally ref the game on league position, i.e. anything 50:50 is given to the team in the higher placing, only obvious decisions given to the other side. I remember being impressed with ONE ref over the last three or four years, tall guy, can't remember his name and unsurprisingly he got fast tracked into the Prem before you could blink as soon as it was obvious they had found a bloke that could do the job properly.
  21. Generous mark for Massengo...................
  22. Klose treading on Dack’s toes as he took the penalty maybe?
