Where's TC been wheeled out?
Facebook and X, haven't checked anywhere else. I wouldn't just say it to knock the club if it hadn't happened albeit I realise you may be asking out of curiosity!!

I see they’ve wheeled Conway out now “Buy your season tickets everyone, I’m ******* off obviously but get those hands in yer pockets……”.

It should be, but it won't be. I'm afraid we will be stuck with the cockwomble for the duration.
Sell all our best players, replace them with dross then sack an experienced manager who had the support of the fans and replace him with someone clearly way out of his depth. Well that's a £1,000 worth of season tickets that won't be renewing here - and how many others are feeling the same.
The club is going backwards and I can't see any signs of this changing for the foreseeable.
Surely he cannot keep losing and keep his job?. Season Ticket sales are quiet, we all know that, and the club WILL have to act by 23rd April unless they really want to stick the biggest of middle fingers up to the fans!!

Well if people really want to send a message to the club then this actually isn’t a bad idea. You could get some cheap white t-shirts, get the letters STB or the full “Sack the board” printed on the front and then sell them outside the ground, maybe priced a little over production costs so that you could donate profits to a charity at the same time.
Would be so funny and also a real striking message to the club to see loads of fans wearing anti club t-shirts instead
Surely it has to be SUAFO rather than STB on the T Shirt doesn't it................................that would keep our Chairman busy for a while.

Low Block, create next to nothing unless we get a set piece right, put in some effort, comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 loss. Bit of moaning tomorrow but everyone then having eyes firmly peeled on Monday where yet another defeat would be the end of Manning. That's how I see it.

Important again to note that the emails today will have been pre scheduled and sent to any non renewing ST holders irrespective of whether 14, 140, 1400 or 14000 had renewed. As @NcnsBcfc says, the more pertinent piece is the lack of the club shouting out as to how many have renewed to date and that tells its own story.
I personally hope the numbers are terrible tbh. I know a few are banging the drum but short of not renewing, an action taken by some but possibly not as many as one or two think it might be (we'll see), it's the only way those who want to attend have of saying "look hierarchy, we really aren't happy with the way you are running things, this is your warning shot". I am not criticising anyone for renewing immediately, it's your choice, but I think it is a missed opportunity because you are handing Jon and Brian all the ammo they need to feel vindicated and that you support everything they've done. If you do, that's fair enough and of course you would renew immediately but if you don't I find the immediate renewal odd tbh.
The club apologists completely fail to read the room in that if this continues for the next 12 months alongside a few daft kick off times the club will genuinely lose THOUSANDS rather than hundreds of season ticket holders. The situation is that grave for me. Put it this way my warning shot is exactly that and they are only getting one. First time since I've stopped playing football nearly twenty years ago that I am not renewing unconditionally. Strings attached now. Loads of other grounds I can visit on a Saturday, catch up with people and enjoy what is on offer and if the Binary Ball continues I might even start missing a few of ours and going elsewhere next season anyway.

When you look at the communication from this time last year around "record sales etc etc", it's telling that we are now 10 days on from the start of the process and no figures have been released.
It must be starting to dawn on even the most clueless at the club (Hello Jon) that the fanbase is not happy and that some big decisions are going to have to be made to correct the trajectory we are going in.
Although the international break came at just the right time for Manning and the club, the restless supporters have been stewing in the background.
Not quite sure how tomorrow is going to go really. In any other given season playing probably the best team in the division would afford the manager a bit of a pass. Got this feeling that unless the performance itself is substantially better tomorrow, then the boos will start to ring out again live on Sky.
Not a pretty scenario for anyone connected with the club.
Exactly. A losing PERFORMANCE will be tolerated as far as Binary Boy is concerned. He needs that for his own career anyway. Then he will be more sevely judged on what happens Monday - which is fair too. Anything other than a committed performance where we are looking like competing with Leicester is going to look awful for the Lansdowns........that's what happens when you treat "customers" with contempt for your own fun.

Precisely what I am doing. Last day renewal.
I won't be leaving it until the very last day because the way the club are going out of their way to deceive and antagonise fans at the moment I could easily envisage a system crash on the last day. How Bristol City (Bristol Sport Lansdown Era) FC would that be?

Why do you think I renewed? Exactly the same reasons. Just because I renewed early doesn’t mean I’m in bed with them or think they can run a club well, they patently don’t. I go there to see friends and support the team. When people renew is up to them, and for what it’s worth in my opinion waiting to the end then renewing which some may choose to do and is fine won’t send much of a message. Protesting visibly in the ground at the clubs hierarchy might be better ?
They might just get the message if a few thousand or more wait until the end of renewals that any repeat of their shit show and the obvious piss taking of supporters for their own fun will have more serious repercussions next time round. If Jon Lansdown continues with his deliberately antagonistic attitude towards fans, backed up by the bloke lacking integrity and running the football alongside him, they could be in a very awkward position in 12 months time and the joke will end up on them.
We will have less ST holders next season, that’s pretty much a guarantee, it’s just how bad it looks to them that matters.

Not true though is it. A 30k (funded) revamp was on the cards that got dropped the moment he came in. He then spent 15 years looking every option possible to move the stadium.
Only to come back to square one. Which then cost an absolute premium. Slow hand clap all round, good job guys.
Some people fall for the BS BS hook line and sinker.................

Without the Lansdowns we’d probably be in league 1 playing in a ramshackle Ashton Gate.
Instead of playing in League 1 in a nicer Ashton Gate in 18 months time if we aren't careful.......................
Swallow it, the bloke has invested a shed load, for which we are all grateful, and in the overall scheme of things has achieved very little outside of bricks and mortar.

This is bang on.
It just sums up how poor the ownership are, that they think this is a good idea right now.
They are either intentionally trolling the fan base at this point or they really are unbelievably stupid….
I genuinely believe it’s the latter.

Stones and Walker are both excellent when fit
Walker is a big miss as his pace gets others, and himself sometimes, out of trouble. Stones is prone to lapses occasionally and it's interesting that Pep plays him further forward for the most part these days. If we were as good at the back as we are in the other areas of the team we would take some stopping. The problem is that the top sides like France and Spain know that as long as they stay in the game against us they WILL get two gilt edged opportunities to score...........and so it proved at the last world cup.

As for our Welsh “cousins” anyone remember the Italy flag in the away end when we played Swansea? Now you know what it’s like to lose a penalty shoot out in a big game boyo’s. Enjoy that!!

England are good going forward when Southgate allows the handbrake to be realeased and ropey defensively. There were enough chances created last night to put Belgium to bed, they profited from two League 2 standard mistakes and created one clear chance when we committed bodies forward at the end. Sels had a very good game. Kane and Saka to come in too. However this England team always leaves the back door unlocked and that will continue to cost us at the business end of any tournament. We don’t have a Bellingham, Saka or Kane equivalent at the back. All decent, no more.
There is no comparison with Bristol City who sit in a low block and create the square root of **** all. It’s nonsense to compare the two as we are so bad.

Is it ? Do you check every stat you are told? I think it’s fair to assume when someone in Tinnion’s position gives a stat it’s correct
When people in "Tinnion's position" generally give out stats I would tend to agree but when TINNION gives out a stat I wouldn't believe a word of it without checking. I mean he told us we beat Southampton 3-0, must be right..............

Sadly, I tend to agree.
They're desperate to give him time in the summer with some new players and even more time on the grass.
There seems little evidence this is actually the answer, certainly not to be top 6, which seems laughable.
But like you say, Guernsey will be determined to say "I was right".
What did he allow Lee Johnson - 9 defeats in a row?
So, hey, why not Liam Manning?
You couldn’t lose 13 out of your last 14 and keep your job. Steve would completely lose credibility across pretty much the entire fanbase in that scenario. His ego is too big for that.

From SLs history (and current) I do disagree. We know he wants to sell and relegation leads to a lower price. He’s binned good human beings when that wasn’t likely immediately but was a real horizon risk. I think without improvement it becomes clearer to everyone we’re heading for a dogfight next season.
And Steve does not want that. The £ is more important than proving his son and Tinnion right.
If we lose the next two he might go, if we lose the next three he will go. Everyone will be in uproar by that point. If two weeks on the grass results in a right gubbing on Friday I would be tempted to get rid there and then to give us a chance of going to Plymouth and getting something.
If you can’t stop losing football matches players stop listening.

If that was genuinely the case then you just bring in a replacement manager, keep the staff and go for continuity. Or you just give Nige the season off and tell him that if he's alright by June we'll look at a new contract. Curtis and Euell would have been able to deliver a lot more than Manning has. You seem to have ignored the front foot comments made by Sid, the deconditioning and the "better chance of success" comment from Crayon Boy that clearly demonstrate it was a SACKING..........of the entire staff, none of which, apart from Nige, had medical problems.
