  1. This is where I currently sit tbh.........
  2. It's a job to these players. Flint is from up North somewhere, why would he give a shit about you or I? Some players love the interaction with fans, others do it because they have to to stay onside and a small number couldn't give a toss what the fans think of them as long as their £35K gets paid into their account at the end of the month.........no different a cross section of people than any other job.
  3. Why are people so keen to have old players back? Pack as of his abilities NOW isn't what we need if we want to get to the standard that sees us competing properly at Championship level rather than treading water so for what possible reason would we want him back other than the most minute of SHORT TERM gain?
  4. It would be strange for a Manager who, because of severe financial restrictions, seems ultra keen to give young un's a go IF THEY ARE UP TO IT to have a problem with this one kid. Apparently it's obvious to a number of fans who have only seen the kid play once at a proper level and never watched him train though.
  5. I'll humour you....... Do you think that watching the kid train every day might give Pearson a better opinion of his current ability than you? How come he never smashed it on loan at Woking if he is as good as you say he is? Were they picking on him too? You don't think Scott and Benarous are better than Britton? What problem does Pearson have with the lad? I'm asking because you state it is so obvious but I'm a bit dimp and can't see it....... If West Brom and Wolves are watching him what is he doing on loan at some League of Ireland mob?
  6. You either weren’t at the ground or if you were you must have been ball watching?
  7. That is part of football like it or not. It’s not about going out there to break legs but you have got to get stuck in and show your Manager and the fans you give a shit…unless you played for Bristol City pre 2021/22 season in which case you were on a nice easy screw.
  8. It’s the rules. If you have a towel the away team has a right to use it too.
  9. The issue with players who make you work your bollocks off to get a tune out of them is that in the end they will always let you down. Certainly in my playing experience anyway.
  10. Get your ass down there for 12.30pm and find out.
  11. What is good is that we were told it would be January when he got injured. Compare that to last seasons "back in a few weeks" which translated as season ender half the time.
  12. That sort of thing spreads really quickly if you don't nip it in the bud and before you know it you have seven or eight players who are convinced that they will never get a game "under this clown".
  13. Oh they will. The very same people who were crucifying Nige for playing him when we had a load of injuries will be crucifying him the very first time he has a decent game for Ipswich................
  14. Exactly that imo. Sounds like he's been flouncing around the training ground telling people "I'm ******* off" rather than fighting for a place in the side and Nige has turned round to the kid and said "my pleasure lad, the exit door is that ******* way....".
  15. You will get a few who stick up for the player and say it's the Manager's responsibility that a player has a shite attitude. Always happens.
  16. **** me. Have you got nothing better to do with your life than pedantry?
  17. I don’t think we’ll see anything like the towel throwing that we saw last season. 20 games left and if we win five and draw five (which is worse than our current ratio of wins and draws to losses) we will be plenty of points in safety imo.
  18. Had nine more points but then we literally threw in the towel due to ridiculous management by Steve’s favourite CEO. Meaningless comparison imo.
  19. Numerous false dawns with O’Dowda. 8 assists and a handful of goals in 150 odd games tells me what I need to know. Always one step forward and two back with him. Much to the disagreement of many I’m also struggling with Massengo. 1 assist, a couple of assisting the assists and no goals in 90 odd games doesn’t suggest he’s what we need right now and then compare that stat to Alex Scott who is basically a kid with a handful of appearances making his way in the game.
  20. Whereas people who say it's all Nige's fault EVERY SINGLE MATCH are ok.....cos you agree with them?
  21. .....and might well be losing Carrol who has just started to hit form in this window.
  22. I assume your username relates to being born in 1988? If so you are the most childish 33 year old on the face of the earth............................. If it relates to being 8.8 years old I, of course, apologise.
  23. What are you on about? Give us an explanation, just for the craic........ Btw, this will piss you off, Steve ain't sacking anyone.
  24. You could learn a lot from them although if I had to guess I would say you don't attend that many games........
