Leyton Orient, with one of the higher budgets in the division, will be relegated today if results stay as they are.
-
Anyone know if the goal was any good?
-
Can Sheffield United still catch us?
Yeah, they are getting 36 points if they win next week.
-
Well it was Agard.
Bloody Stockhausen, always the first one to tweet, but often the wrong bloke
Given to Agard on SSN. Probably more accurate than Stockhousen!!

Swindon abuse 1 min silence
Swindon have disrespected the league all season from diving all over the place to clutching their faces when hardly touched, "celebrating" sending offs, hassling the referee to get fellow professionals booked/sent off and now fielding a reserve side thus affecting the race for promotion. And they wonder why nobody likes them.
-
Their fans and team have been on the beach since November when they played us with 10 men for 84 minutes and won 1-0 at their place to win the league title. No joke, they won the title that day.
If you haven't seen it here it is.....
I thought it was the World Cup they won that day?

Not sure how you can say that. Walsall were poor in the final third but played the ball around nicely. I didn't think City played to our full potential and we will have to perform better against Preston, or we will lose.
We will play better against Preston. We did what we had to yesterday. With eight games of our season left and the main prize to win we were not going to go gung-ho against a team we could have put six past to be honest.
The fact we played within ourselves and won at a canter shows how much better we are than the majority of teams in this league.
To claim Walsall could feel "hard done by" in any way, shape or form is one of the most incredible comments I have ever read.
SOD's team played it around "nicely" at times last season - and they were crap when push came to shove.
-
Not really. I think Walsall were quite hard done by to lose by two goals. They dominated possession for parts of the game
What game was that then? What happened is we ended up saving energy for a tough game next week - that's how straighforward it was. Tell me how many saves Frank had to make?
Great day out for the Walsall lot though - nothing beats that first time you see your club at Wembley, win, lose or draw.

How the HELL did we get 17 points clear of MK Dons? They were neck and neck with us about two weeks ago!!
They started giving us eight points for a win for some reason - either that or we've played about seven games in those two weeks!!
-
I make that every single outfield player in the matchday squad has now scored.
-
Jet would have scored 8 by now.
12 at least.
-
Any news with this game? My onefootball app says postponed but no news on anywhere else?? Guessing just an app screw up?? Hoping so!
Well, the turnstiles weren't open five minutes ago?

A 1-0 victory will more than do for me. And a point would not be an unmitigated disaster either. Would like us to keep a clean sheet tonight.
-
Easy to smug in hindsight isn't it.
Not really. Anyone who seriously thought Sheffield were going to win the required number of games was mental.
-
SC: "They didn't even shake our hands at the end. And they watered the pitch all over the end we were defending in the second half."
I'm sure we'll get over it.
-
Just noticed the crowds tonight; MK - 7K, Preston - 8K and Swine - 7K. Not great.
-
If Carlsberg did football evenings.......
-
Orient having lots of possession. Feel this isn't over yet.
Capitulating.
-
We love you Andy Hessentaler!
I don't think it was ANDY who scored!! His son Jake more likely!!
-
Wilbraham booked, now suspended as 5th yellow? Agard anonymous
No, it's 10 yellows to get a suspension now.
-
As a set of results we would have taken that at the start of the day. Only Preston and us winning out of the top 5. Swindon wll surely get extra punishment for their second six card haul in only a few weeks. Indiscipline will cost them.
-
I would expect him to say we were 5hit... correct... but he didn't... that I think was my point, sorry you missed it.
He's paid to see the bigger picture and manage his players properly not to be babyish and over-react to please one or two fans who are still raging because we've lost a game of football for only the fifth time in thirty one. Maybe a small minority on here would feel better if he smashed a couple of the more poorly performing players, who haven't let him down many times, with a baseball bat - that will get them playing for him on Tuesday.
-
Nevermind. Just one of those days.
Still top dog and we need keep our heads down and carry on.
Exactly. Hysterically over analysing it and worrying like mad over what happens to us if this happens and if that happens doesn't change anything that happened today.
-
but will only be 5 if Preston win their game in hand...
And 8 if they lose and 6 if they draw it. I'd rather have the points than the games in hand. Gives you a buffer for performances like today. All if's buts and maybes when you have games in hand. Plus teams playing catch up HAVE to win.
